CPMA and this are pretty similar, but incomparable; cpma requires more pure skill with movement, but the skill in Warsow is in different things: Like syncing the attacks with your teammate, covering your teammate who is planting/defusing, killing the enemies while mate speedcaps flag etc. And of course Warsow movement requires skill to with the harder tricks like dj+wdj+ddj etc

This is an extremely fast game. :p This comes from a 10 year UT99\2004 vet. Much more Quake than UT, but there is a combination of both. Though I still say UT is the best and hardest FPS, Warsow and Quake both definitely give it a run for its money. I can't really rate the movie because I don't know it much but it looks a bit over-edited, but still has strong frags. 8.3\10 :)

@1DarkMasK1 UT became first before Quake, just to let you know. UT is better than Quake and harder. Many more tactical options and much harder to aim due to that. But of course it's all opinion, mine is UT > all, and yours is Quake > UT, lets just keep it at that.

Right UT is more tactical thats the word I was looking for.

Quake is very fast on the other and quake maps are much smaller then UT ones and thats make it hard speed + small maps.

@1DarkMasK1 Oops, I thought Unreal Series started off in '95. :p Quake is only faster in momentum due to that dash movement, while UT has quicker base movement and a faster beginning dodge in any direction. Though, if Quake were faster in all senses it doesn't mean it's harder. As I said, UT has more tactics which leads to harder aiming and much more of a variety of things to do than Quake. Quake's great, but UT is just on another level in my opinion. UT is easier to learn, yet harder to master.

If you ever actully played Quake 1 you would know how much harder it is rocket and grenade is 1 hit kill weapons if splash damage = kill in 80% of the time, lightning gun kills you in 1 sec.

Thats why playing quake is hard because rocket damage is very high yet you have to master the art of rocket jumping in order to win a match.

Bunny hoping is also harder in quake 1 then in quake 2 or 3.

@1DarkMasK1 Of course Quake is difficult, but UT is still more difficult (IMO). UT99 - everything besides the pistols were overpowered. Bio's 1 load kill. Shock's Combo, and primary. Sniper's rate of fire. Rocket's splash and loading up damage. Flak's power up close with that secondary Cannon. Minigun's hit fire + rate of fire. Pulse Gun's primary speed and damage + secondary murdering.

@1DarkMasK1 UT2004 - Shock was amazingly powerful. LG's damage ability. Flak was still deadly up close and the Rockets were still doing the same damage. Link was amazingly powerful and annoying up close. Minigun's rate of fire was still crazy fast. That's all the weapons being overpowered in the UT series. Lets just put this to rest and just end it with...YOUR OPINION: QUAKE > UT, MY OPINION: UT > QUAKE

This is older version of Warsow, when game play and movement was awesome, allot different than it is now, now it's not very good with a random at best netcode and a hacked up botch job for a lag compensation.

Right you make bunch of opinions backed up by nothing like CS doesnt take much luck in cs ignoring that in cs any weapon is 1 hit kill weapon if by luck bullet hits opponents head and since in CS you have recoil and bullet spread you can aim your gun even away from enemy and still get HS.

The euro scene is definitely healthy, I have no trouble finding servers, but then again, I only play instagib gamemodes. It's rare to not be able to find at least one server running ica gamemode, and duel/iduel is also quite popular. ;) The game is not very pleasing to they eye, I'll give you that.

The day I play a game for graphics alone is the day I give up gaming. Warsow is a game and not a war simulation, as a lot of games try to be :P As for the vid, I think it's fairly entertaining but it's not as good as some of the quake 3 trickjumping vids I've seen. There's a better Warsow trick movie by Pez who featured in some of the Shaolin Studio Q3 vids, and they're the benchmark for gameplay movies. Nice soundtrack on this one though :)
