Thanks LostNCyberspace, I simply hold the camera in my hand outside the canopy window. Due to the wide angle it captures very well. I secure it to my hand with a strap of course.
Thanks Doug, sure I remember you. I recall you were flying with a Mosquito harness later. Wonder what's up with Mike Lella these days. I switched to sailplanes in 1999. Flew from the Bay area to McClure and back last year, got to thermal with KM. Take care.
Beautiful video. I'm interested to know how you take the videos and photos . They appear to be taken outside of the plane and as if you can pan the camera as well .

Thanks. I didn't realize it at the time. In fact, my GoPro battery died so took these pictures with my iphone 4! I also ended up landing nearby, twice in the same week!
