  • I ve just dropped the orthopedic boot after 8weeks of immobilisation, but I kept on cykling @ the gym when I had it, so it help keeping mood/faith...

hope to be able to go skiing in 2months...

  • 7 weeks into mine 5 weeks left to go with plastic walker boot with heel inserts, then I can start on physio, I have now also developed pulmonary embolisms because of the injury (6 months Warfarin) = mega long recovery, been told no activity that may result in cuts as my blood will not clot. Bit of a bummer as I was Road cycling 100-200 miles a week and Mountain biking 30 + miles a week prior to achilles rupture. All this inactivity is driving me insane..

  • That's right, folks. Kiss goodbye 3-6 months of your life. Especially if you're an active person. It SUCKS.
