The analogy with Tom Brady makes no sense whatsoever. MMA fighters don't get paid unless they fight. They are essentially independent contractors. A lot of UFC fighters make next to nothing while Dana White makes millions being a douche.
Bruce Lee was an exceptional athlete, who i guess you can say is the forefather of MMA.
Still, the caliber and experience of many of the MMA fighters today would make Bruce Lee look like a mediocre fighter. If Bruce Lee was born twenty years ago, he would no doubt be one of the greatest MMA fighters with his determination and talent, he could get very far. But to say that he would beat Fedor? Bruce Lee was tested in real, underground fights. NO RULES! NO WEIGHT CLASSES! The Hollywood stuff came later. I'm not sure what would happen in such a fight, but you are certainly underestimating Bruce Lee and overestimating a sport that has too many rules to truly reflect the ability of a fighter. Anyone who says that Fedor couldn't cope in the UFC is chatting bullshit. Fedor got his first proper loss in over 30 fights and suddenly because of that it means he wouldn't be able to compete with the top UFC fighters. Fedor has beaten 5 former UFC HW champions in his career. Randleman, Sylvia, Arlovski, Nogueria (I know he won it after he fought Fedor, but still) and Coleman. Bruce Lee was tested in real, underground fights. NO RULES! NO WEIGHT CLASSES! The Hollywood stuff came later. I'm not sure what would happen in such a fight, but you are certainly underestimating Bruce Lee and overestimating a sport that has too many rules to truly reflect the ability of a fighter. Put Fedor in a back alley with Lee an suddenly things get much more interesting.

Everything that has been said about Fedor is true. The man absolutely is a once in a lifetime fighter...He carries himself as a Martial Artist as well, which is the most important. Of course nobody can know for sure, but I highly doubt that there is any human being on this planet that can defeat Fedor in an unarmed hand to hand combat fight.
