  • Paper Moon is one of the best films ever...I loved it and Eddie (little tatum o'neil) made me cry.

  • I loved papermoon soooooo much . I identified with her character. Its such a heartbreak to see her hurting now. Hope she can get back into acting again, cause she was tops!!!

  • I miss Johnny Carson and little Tatum

  • soo innocent and unaffected! Cool to see.

  • wheres the full interview

  • Tatum seemed like she was a very real down to earth child. NOT annoying like many other child prodigies become. I can't stand when child actors try and be too cute, grown up and put on a show for people like Dakota Fanning used to do. Tatum is great

  • Sooo cute...too bad they have to grow up and go bad!!!

  • Awwww. Too cute, and too sad what happened to them.

What a lovely little girl she was. Just adorable.

  • Too cute! I never saw this before!

  • Who's the man on the couch with Ryan? Bogdonavich?

  • @shaynapunim1 yes, that is Peter Bogdonavich, which was the director of tatum's movie "Paper Moon" that won her that Oscar :D

  • do you have the entire interview? i would love to see it in its entirety.

  • wow, where did you get this?

thanks for uploading it, what a treat to see!

tatum was so cute! and so natural. not like kid actors today who are so polished and rehearsed in public relations.

  • the air date of this show was May 14th, 1973

  • @jeremylr68 - And from the last group of shows Carson ever did in New York, one year after his show moved permanently to Burbank.

  • @Honeydoole

Shush. Go take your meds and shut your pie hole, cunt.

  • I think it's a very easy card to play to blame Ryan for everything. Yes, he is a very flawed person, but Tatum also gave him such grief over loving Farrah. It was the main reason why she cut Ryan out of her life, didn't invite him to her wedding & so forth. Sad family on so many counts.

  • SWEET!!!!

  • @Honeydoole

I hesitate to continue this discussion, because I now see beyond a doubt that you are mentally challenged. Anyone who can write that she doesn't need a good dad is a lunatic. Get help. You need help badly. Good luck with that.

  • I don't know if Ryan and Tatum will ever really work things out but It's good to see that they're a part of each others live's again.

  • @Honeydoole

You are remarkably out of touch with reality. How does someone just "let it go" after years and years of psychological abuse? She KNOWS it's not healthy but she's DAMAGED now, you retard. She's NOT CHOOSING to harbor this shit and they have EVERYTHING to do with her dad. You are wildly out of touch. Get a clue, freak.

  • Correction needed. This isn't 7/25/85, but more like 1973 when Paper Moon was released.
