I'm playing this game too. I seriously wonder if Bebedora & Maru have a 'thing' for each other? Remember when Bebedora went back to Kharg's village to spy around?
I realize you wrote this comment a year ago, and have probably already beaten the game and figured this out, but in the ending Bebedora and Maru are holding hands, and the other characters reference it as proof that there is a future for coexistance between humans and deimos.
Though in the sequel (which is sadly, fairly awful) Maru's kingdom is trying to marry him off to Lady Foh (who's technically his cousin..!) and he always runs away from his kingdom to avoid this fate.
....I guess that's why I won so easily(I trained both teams a lot). I was wondering why Maru could only hit like, 10 points of damage on Bebedora when I had them both at the same level at that time. While Bebedora could hit at least 70.
I just have to say that Darc is my favorite character. I also adore Bebedora, she's freaky and her mind control abilities tend to be helpful. I haven't gotten this far in the game yet (just got through defeating Droguza). I'm glad to find out that I can pick which side to fight for, and I already know I'll side with the Deimos. Kharg's not that bad of a guy, but he's a little too goody-goody for me.
I absolutely ADORE the game. ;D Music, characters, EVERYTHING! And is it just me.. but for those who of course remember Darkham.. XDD Doesn't he resemble Hitler? Even slightly? XD! And at the part where you fight Darkham, there are those guy's in the white cloaks. LMFAO THEY LOOK LIKE THE KKK. xDD
The Deimos are awesome!!! What is wrong with you!? The only human characters that are better than most of the Deimos are Ganz and Tatjana, but Darc is still better than them both, and Camellia's healing and Delma's stat enhancements were BY FAR the most useful magic in the game.
i hhave lotsa different files like if i wanna do a part of a game again but dont wanna start a new game i just load that file like this --when the himans fight the deimos i have that saved on a different of 16 spaces to save ur game. but my main file my character r high level's ill tell u the lvls of my characters:
There are a total of 39 tracks and it cost anywhere from 25 to 40 dollars. Gamemusic.com is a safe enough online store to make your purchase but check on amazon first. Amazon is the safest site i know.

I love this game, but it's just not recognised as a good game. I love Darc's character development as he shifted from a laid-back Deimos to a true leader.

It is so good to meet other RPG lovers. I don't know, somthing about those menus or trying to determine the best position in strategy RPGs just has me spending hours on this stuff. But I think I am a "great story" fan more than an RPG fan because I have alot of RPGs which I have not beaten because of lame story lines.
I know. Dar was cooler in every way. I mean he wasn't try to save a world in despire that he loved. He was trying to beat everyone into subjection under his reign because he knew what was best for them. You really don't get cooler than that.
Plus, characters with shadowy pasts are cooler then ones without. I mean, just look at Cloud from FF7, Gaara from Naruto, Lucy from Elfen Lied, I could go on and on...
I know, shadowy pasts sorta adds depth to the character and make for a better story. That works out well for me because I am an RPG fan and story means everything to me.
yeah I love this game too. I actually chose to fight for the humans when I beat the game. I did love Darc more cause he was so badass but I couldn't abandon my human race, lol.
Sorry, I chose to fight for the Deimos, so I'm kind of interested in what each of the Deimos characters say when they're in the tower and really weak ^^;
I played it twice to see what happens with both sides. The outcome is the same, with the losers telling the winners to finish them off, and the winners deciding not to.
Third time I just went with the higher level team. Everyone favors the Deimos because most of the characters are more interesting, but I liked the characters on both teams. The only human character I didn't like all that much was Tatjana.
You know, I had a feeling you would be choosing to fight for the Deimos, most people do XD
((I know I did, since I love playing Bebedora and trained her about 10 levels ahead of everyone else))

it sucks that the team you fight always has set stats, and not the stats you actually have for them
i always win this fight so easily but if the other team had the stats i actually got for them, this battle would be amazing

It is so good to meet other RPG lovers. I don't know, somthing about those menus or trying to determine the best position in strategy RPGs just has me spending hours on this stuff. But I think I am a "great story" fan more than an RPG fan because I have alot of RPGs which I have not beaten because of lame story lines.

I love this game! lol, I chose to fight for the Deimos as well. The gameplay IMO is cool but takes a little too long for each battle.
