  • PERFECTION

  • Pretty horse pretty mover...

  • I have a hotrodders jet set grandson, and i am so in love with these bloodlines. I love the natural movement, theres no need to turn this horse into the rail to slow him down and look crippled. that headset is perfect..he moves out, it gives him somewhere to go which allows his head to be so steady. the hippity hot stay in place movement is just not natural..horses dont move like that out in the pasture. He looks happy and the rider looks happy riding him, love the krymsun, hotrodder horses.

  • :O This is my 3 year olds dad.. Whom is my new horse ;D And he looks exactly like him. Beautiful :D

  • we own a three year old grandbaby of his. Must be a few hundred (a thousand) in this group, right? the genes held pretty well and he looks like OHK. I hope he ends up as good a loper. Your guy is probably the hottest thing going since his daddy invitation only (look out chocolate chip).

  • hi ! im from england and it is a joy to watch a man and his horse so relaxed and so together, you must be so proud. he is gorgeous!

  • Is he out of Red Hot Scotchman? I am a proud owner of two of his sons. (both are stallions)

  • @bayonetpainthorses No. He is a son of Invitation Only.

  • @bayonetpainthorses How can you own two of his sons, and not know the bloodlines of their sire? What kind of horse person are you?

  • GORGEOUS!!!

  • watching this video gave me goose bumps! such a fabulous horse!!

  • He's beautiful!

  • ok seriously u morgan, walker, gaited loving freaks if u dont like western pleasire dont watch it ok i HATE saddle seat and gaited classes you think i watch them? NO! so dont be dising qh's just because your horses werid they put waited shoes on gaited horses its the same as slowing a horse down. My horse naturaly jogs and lope so it's not painful or anything if it was the horse wouldnt keep doing it ok seriously GROW UP! and get over your self and go watch your little gaited classes mmk:)

  • @jumpingjunkie5 I think she meant "Nasty!" in the good sense. Like "Awesome"

  • @bbqtrhorse oh ok it just makes me mad if they dont like it then why do they watch it... btw I LOVVEEE ohk:) i want one of his babys:) thankx for fixng my confusion

  • @jumpingjunkie5

if you like western plesure so much, try at least spelling it right. And pleasure horses arent any worse or better than gaited horses. Its only your comment. Its just an opinion of yours so nobody gives a crap.I gladly own a gaited horse thats yet a pleasure riding horse. So no horse is better than another.Get over yourself.

  • NASTY!

  • he looks like he has a very sweet temperment, most of the stallions i see and ride tend to buck a lot more.

  • @eques101 ha ha! I've never seen this boy buck once unless it was without a saddle and just playing.

  • @bbqtrhorse thats good shows you have a VERY good tempered stallion

  • Gorgeous!! Beautiful mover and video...Def. will look into a OHK for my next purchase!!!

  • WOW.....nice work. :)

  • Amazing horse! Do you have any horses for sale? I am interested in buying another horse for my 14 year old experienced rider.

  • @coolblackmagic Thank you. Absolutely we have horses for sale. email me privately or call 513-659-1659.

  • @bbqtrhorse Please email me..... sydneybohannon@yahoo.com

  • We have a One Hot Krysom son. After sitting in the pasture for 2 years, my 14 year old son pulled him out, worked him lighlty for 3 weeks, took him to his 1st point show, only showing 4-h walk/trot prior! Here he was able to put afew western pleasure points on him first time out together. Not to bad for a novice beginner!!!

  • a horse that has stood the test of time. Every year he competed he was just better then before. I remember seeing him win at the World the first time. Very deserving.

Do you have anything for sale, I am in the market for a new show horse for my 15 year old daughter. She has a daughter of Impulsions that she has outgrown. Thanks, my email is krugerrands@yahoo.com

  • **excuse me he. typo. :)

  • i cant stand how people just decide to click a vid and comment negative things about the style and riding. they are bred this way (i should know since i do work with western pleasure horses). sure they run around a field like a normal horse sometimes and completely out of frame but i have seen 6 month old foals jog in frame. please tell me how you are supposed 2 teach foal that when u cant even ride them?

disregard them, this video is stunning (both horse and rider). she is beautiful. <3

  • I cried. I love seeing a great horse and a great rider, with such good sportsmanship, who have all worked so hard, win. They deserved it very much so.

  • i get so sick and tired of people saying western pleasure isnt natural. name me one sport that is natural. you don't see barrel horses running barrel patterns in the pasture or reining horses spinning for fun. So all of you saying this isnt natural, No you are right it is not and neither is any other sport so stop trashing pleasure horses.

  • @meabear1 Fact is that an unridden horse would never move up a pace unless he/she wanted to go faster so to lope & jog at the same speed as a walk is most definitely something a horse would NEVER do naturally as it is a waste of energy & extremely difficult to do. It also seems a bit pointless for the rider . At least this horse IS loping & not just running on behind as most do. I agree with you most horse sport is actually unnatural when you look at it hard enough & probably also pointless lol

  • I actually have a one hot krymsum....our 1st one, and she acts like shes s showing even when shes turned out....that head is always set, and shes got a great lil jog on her, and then she works into a beautful breathtaking lope.....sometimes she feel a lil more HUS and will go out there and long trot and canter around, and its still just breathtaking

  • I actually have a one hot krymsum....our 1st one, and she acts like shes s showing even when shes turned out....that head is always set, and shes got a great lil jog on her, and then she works into a beautful breathtaking lope.....sometimes she feel a lil more HUS and will go out there and long trot and canter around, and its still just breathtaking!

  • I just got a yearling gelding thats sired by one hot krymsun and I love him so much, one hot krymsun truly has the best babys and is the best western pleasure horse ever!

  • omg he is such a stunning horse

  • get mover. and i say the top pleasure horse of the decade. everybody wants a ohk including me

  • I am the proud owner of the ONLY Tobiano stallion by One Hot Krymsun to come out to AUSTRALIA..... a gorgeous young man called " ONE KOOL KISSER"

    He is on youtube.

  • I have a 2yr old that lopes around the pasture with his hip tiped to the inside a good horse is a good horse and likes to go slow naturally.

  • I STILL LOVE THIS HORSE!! He's such a beautiful mover! He does make it look so easy and natural!

  • This horse is probably the next zips chocolate chip! He moves great and natural! He is really easy at what he does. Nothing unnatural here except the fact that there is a human strapped to his back....once you put a leather thingy on a horses back and make him carry a human then everything natural goes out the window.

  • I ride at the place where he was born ;D

  • did you show OHK crosby krymsun this past week at the highland classic?

  • @pecker94 no, I don't show. just riding lessons lol.

  • This guy takes my breath away every time I see him! I really hope to breed to him in the not to distant future!

  • @SierraSyd08 Thank gosh! :D

  • @TattieAddiiction

I don't think many are putting him down.... maybe just a few people that don't understand western pleasure or may not like it.

  • @bbqtrhorse oh okay. He is a beautiful stallion. And an amazing mover. I'd love to breed to him.

  • @SierraSyd08

    Yes it is. :-)

  • Looking for a safe all around horse for Nov Am and Select, been 20 years and want to start showing again..would like to keep the price $15,000 and under, please let me know if you have anything or know of one, live in Colorado City TX

    Thank you

  • just a beautiful horse fantastic

  • I do reining, trail, western riding and normally don't like pleasure horses. But I love watching this vid...he is a great mover. It's nice to see his natural forward motion...you don't see that very often....

    Love this vid!!

  • i like how your horse is a clean mover. he looks naturally western and isnt having trouble maintaining his form.

    nice job! :)

  • I have always been and Paint girl But I am absolutely in love with OHK! Absolutely amazing one of the most natural beautiful movers I have ever seen! would love to have a filly out of him and am keepin my eye out for a colored one over here on the west coast! :)

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL TAIL

  • yeah it is but its fake lol. but still very nice

  • Wow! Very nice Horse!

  • this horse is stunning.

Do you by any chance have any horses for sale that would be suitable for the 14-18 classes ?

  • Comment removed

  • Sea of Krymsun. she is listed on dream horse.

  • Yes we do. message privately please.

  • this horse is amazing and this is a true western pleasure horse and these horses are bred to move this slow and there is no way that abuse goes into wp training

  • @palominochampion

i can only speek for the barn i ride at, by saying that we do NOT at any time abuse our horses. in my personal opinion why abuse a horse? it would just cause it to not trust you and then you wouldnt be able to do most of the stuff with it.

  • love this horse! so gorgeous. definitely deserved all of those championships! love to see a great horse win.

got a 2006 OHK mare in July, she's fabulous!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE OHK

  • Great! Welcome to the Krymsun Klan. I'll be anxious to hear all about your Krymsun Kid as you start showing.

  • @bbqtrhorse

thank you! we hope to start in march!

    Merry christmas!

    cheers!

  • wow rodoeabuse person get over yourself. i happen to own a great western pleasure horse who has never had his tail nerved and i DO NOT put him "tight up at a wall for days and months" do you even know anything about western pleasure horses?! cause not all of the owners abuse their horses. in fact mine lives the goodlife!

  • Thanks for coming to our rescue. I don't have the patience for someone like that. In fact One Hot Krymsun never had his tail nerved or done in any way. He did wear a legal tail hair extension, but this is in no way abusive.

  • Hes beautiful(:

  • Amazing....... wonderful to watch him grow and mature through his career! Do you own and ride him? Something to aspire to!

  • I showed him to one Congress Championship and two Reserve Championship. I do ride him when I can - not often as he does not live here. Its ALOT of fun though.

  • One of the greats. He's so natural and effortless. Love him.

  • nice mover! I only ride for pleasure, no showing, on my gaited paso fino gelding.....Just out of curiousity, why is he so bouncy in his movement? LUV that low head!

  • I'm assuming you mean his jog. I love his jog because it is a true cadenced jog in which he picks up all 4 feet. It is really fun to show his jog because the stride never varies, unless you ask for it.

  • Very gorgeous mover! Pretty boy as well! =]

  • okay, it has been a LONG time since I have competed or even been to a show. is this really the movements of western pleasure for the horse? -curious-

  • ya, thats how the western pleasure horses move:)

  • i have a huntseat baby by ohk. i must say i absolutly LOVE him. awesome horse!!!

  • I don't know why I'm even dignifying you with a response...

First, I wasn't trying to "defend" myself by calling him a beautiful horse. He IS a beautiful horse. Simply a compliment.

Second, I wasn't comparing disciplines, I was comparing breeds, and all I stated was, in my own personal opinion, I believe that saddle-type horses are more natural moving as pleasure horses than stock-type horses. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions in life, and that's mine.

  • This is my favorite horse, pretty much... ever! Although I do love Invest N Vital Signs probably just as much!

  • Thank you! If you like these two stallions, I bet you will like the foal coming in 2010 by INVS and out of the dam of One Hot Krymsun. :-) Watch for news in the spring.

  • omg!! thats gonna be ahhmazing!! we may breed our mare to INVS or huntin for chocolate in the spring(:

  • Thank you for not dissing pleasure riding. too many people think it's not natural, but if you really want to go into un-natural, you should see the Tennessee Walkers.

I ride western pleasure and my horse loves it. And it's not like the horse is forced at these gaits all the time, only in training and show.

So thank you for being fair

  • Thank you for listening to someone else's opinion, which happens to differ from your own, and actually respond to it in a civil manner, unlike some people.

Ovbiously I understand that pleasure AQHA's are suppose to move like that. He is a gorgeous horse, and one of the more graceful QH's I've seen, but I still prefer the longer, floating stride of a saddle-type horse. It looks more natural to me than that of a stock-type horse.

  • @raphfreak101 and what do you mean by the Tennessee Walker being un-natrual?

Btw great horse! I always wanted to get a Quarter horse. :) Actually, I went to this place called the Stallion Expo and I think one of "One Hot Krymsun" s relatives were there. His name was "Krymsun n' Gold". He was also a stallion. ;)

  • @horsesLcool I mean if you see how a walker runs in the pasture, than you see how they show in the arena. You wanna talk about unnatural? And before you comment with a "well how do you know" I know because I used to own a walker. Best horse I ever had before I had to sell him when we lost our home, now I ride other people's horses. All I'm saying is before a sport is deemed "Evil" on a horse, watch how they move in the pasture, than to how they show the horses.

  • @raphfreak101 I'm sorry, do you mean like when they trot in the pasture? And gait in the show ring? Or something else.

  • THANK YOU!! I am happy to see a WP horse that has some pep in his step and is willing to move out and be fluid. He is gorgeous and by far, the BEST WP horse I have seen since before the peanut roller fad. He is gorgeous and very natural and I would be incredibly proud to own a horse like that. :D

  • Thank you!!!! :-)

  • Omg. This video makes me cry! One Hot Krymsun is the best! His rides are absolutely stunning! Gorgeous!

  • beautiful

  • i like that that horse dosent bob its head at the lope.

  • Sniff! This Video is so beautiful ! It made me cry! You must be so incredibly proud! AWESOME!

  • Why do people that have horses and happen to enjoy a different style of riding feel it a good idea to put negative comments on pages? We all like horses

so be open minded and supportive of others in the horse community.

  • This horse is definatly one of the best .

  • The best of the best. This is the future sire of my future world champion.

  • this horse is gorgeouss!

  • The horse won at the quarter horse worlds. Its obviously moving right, so if you dont like western pleasure horse why are you watching one? Jeez. Horse looks amazing :)

  • Western pleasure is about a horse being a "pleasure to ride". And with the hroses head set being low and level it shows the horse is in a relaxed state which relates again to the horse being a pleasure to ride.

  • The horse is not in a relaxed state, as this head carriage is entirely unnatural. One does not see a horse four-beating around the pasture with his nose to the ground when the animal is moving naturally. If you like this style that's your choice. However, justifying such an artificial way of going as "relaxed" is disingenous at best, a lie at the worst.

  • Some horses are bred to move and carry like that and it is very natural for them. You should probably count the beats again. The only time he is four beating is when he is walking.

  • you still cant say its natural...i kinda dont get y people are arguing that went you dont see your western pleasure horse running around like that when your not rideing them lol...no form of riding is natural techniquely...im not agenst western pleasure, i own a pleasure horse myself and show im just saying

  • @0purple0oranges0

Actually it is natural for a horse bred this way and with this conformation. His foals can be seen playing in the pasture in a slow western pleasure frame. Some of the yearlings look like they could go to a show and do the western pleasure without a rider.

  • @bbqtrhorse was going to say that myself. All Pleasure bred and built babies are true lopers, in the paddock or not :)

  • @0purple0oranges0 Well yes its natural for horses that are bred like this. Lounge liners are alll natural and they have nice slow lopes & jogs. If you look up "Its all Krymsun". that is a yearling that is a World champion. yes, thats alll naturalll!!

  • @0purple0oranges0 Or look up "Touched By A Proposal" she's all natural too!!

  • @0purple0oranges0

I don't know about the natural but I would say very well trained but the lope is so slow and awkward he look like he is nursing an injury and the trot even at a slower than walk pace is really moving the rider in the saddle.

  • im aware that you are refering to the way the horse is put togeather...like it obv would be unatural for it to be in a dressage class because the neck is set lower.

  • I have a two year old filly right now that looks just like him and has the same head set. I would love to breed her to him when she's old enough.

  • What a pretty mover -- the loose rein is SOOO impressive!

  • its becasue they are WAY trained off your leg signals only and littlest rein. I have a Pleasure horse that is in training right now and I;m riding one of there horses that they are training for students and I was SO sore after the first two rides

  • wow what an amazing horse! do u have a website for him? i cant seem to find it. im intrested in getting one of his foals

  • i ride english but i have great respect for western riders this looks incredibly hard, it seems like this horse is very happy and relaxed which is always good. lol he is really pretty too!

  • Beautiful horse. great mover!

  • this is an awesome horse! very well train(: great head set

  • superbly trained horse..congratulations on an outstanding horse and your success..but I so wish they would get that head carriage back up to level with the withers...I know it's just my opinion, but that looks horrible..

  • i agree with the head thing! below the withers just doesnt look right to me. and i ride a hunter.

  • The trend has really changed to use a more level head set. If you noice, even in the 4 years this video spans, the head carriage changed. I think it speaks alot for the horse and rider to improve and continually perfect the movement. Generally we try to breed for a level topline. It allows for a slow collected and sweepy movement on a loose rein. The trend now is to try to do the same with as natural looking movement as possible. This horse was an outstanding example of that.

  • I have this video and watch it repeatedly. I also have a Krymsun Kid (Lasting Illusions (gelding)) as well as a 2009 filly. As long as OHK is turning out Kids, that's all we'll ever own. Great minds, kind and gentle and willing to please. If you have a Kid, you have that moment in time.

  • I love this horse IT is so sad that you had to sell him. You must have been heartbroken

  • I have not sold One Hot Krymsun. But I do raise foals by him and sell those and sometimes that is hard enough. :-)

  • Comment removed

  • I have loved your horse from the 1st ime i saw him as a 2yr old. When iam down i watch this video and a big smile and chills come to me. We have a mutual friend who has one of the best app stallions out there aka Harry i keep telling her someday if i can afford it i will own one of his off spings in the mean time i will watch this video and smile hope to meet with you someday to disscus buying one of his off sping

  • Thank you! :-)

  • i am sorry you think that but please note this horse is a multiple world and congress champion, are you? i think not.

  • hey wheres your world title at let alone 3 and 4 congress champs? these horses arent ur average ranch horses. that horse has great confirmation and so do his babies since thats about all we ever breed to anymore

  • I am in love with this horse. The rider and One Hot Krymsun are a perfect match. I have to admit, I haven't been a W.P fan for long, but these two could make you reconsider your next horse purchase.

    Love this stuff !!!!

  • Not carrying anything?

    Rider and WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY!!!

    WHERE IS YOURS?

  • I could watch him all day. Not carrying anything? What about the rider ...and himself? You can try to put him down all you want but that does not change the fact that he has won three world championships and is making tons of money as a top sire.

  • HAHAHAHA LMAO wow haha i'm not against dressage or anything. it really is a beautiful disipline but ha i agrantee you if you sat in that saddle for an hour of or at a lope you'd feel the amount of drive from behind they are actually totally and completly off their front end. and this takes usually two years of consecutive trainging to get them like that OHK is what AQHA uses as an example of a champion WP horse, lots of respect goes out toherb best fro breeding this amazing stud

  • Thanks Derrick. Its true about the drive from behind this horse and alot of his kids have. People who aren't used to it can hardly believe it when they feel it. We breed for this movement and for this conformation to allow this movement. If you were around Nova Scotia years ago, you might remember One Hot Krymsun's dam, Krymsun Jet Set. She has the same drive and showed in 6 events. In my opinion, no matter what the discipline, the best of breed will be collected and drive from behind.

  • actulluy i happen to have taken a few clinics with Hebu best the wonderful man who bred this horse. and yes I have see his mother herby sure has some nice horses I really like his stud Invited to krymsun he's stunning. got a new OHK baby at the barn shes a 2008 fillie named OHK Ziphistication aka charly

  • Although I ride dressage, and of course I'm into the warmbloods and I own and breed Friesians as well, which are huge movers indeed, I appreciate good quality in every breed of horses, no matter what discipline. I've learned to be open-minded and respectful, so therefore I've learned from many different kinds of riders and trainers. One must realize that every rider, no matter what the style is, or breed, works very hard and deserves appreciation, I believe.

  • Pretty mature that people who don't agree with other peoples opinions write such snootty things about this horse. I will say that I have ridden and competed on several horses, under several disiplines from pleasure to barrel racing. Just because this is not your forte gives you no right to put this horse down. Obvisouly he is amazing in what he does. How many repeat world championships has this horse won? My point exactly. You cant compare your dressage horse to him, its two different things.

  • i am amazed, beautifulll horsee! :]]

  • This horse is truly amazing! he is so clean in his legs and very consistant in both movement and frame. we have a new filly out of him and she is astounding. her name is OHK Ziphistication owned by a lady at our barn and they plan on taking her to congress for the lunge line futurity I wouldn't dbout it a bit that she'll clean house

  • This is what western pleasure is and if u dont like it then dont watch it and keep your comments to yourself.. obviously this horse is COLLECTING properly to become world chammpion MORE THAN ONCE.. This horse is amazinggg and truly a great sire

  • thats what they are supposed to do liberty9m...

  • I don't care for these Western gates at all. That hobbling lope makes a horse look lame. You can actually lift the horses back without dropping his face in the mud. It's called dressage. I'd like to see this guy actually push from behind and collect properly. Nice horse, though.

  • Yes dressage horses are lifted and collected, but they also have contact with the bit. Western pleasure horses are expected to lift and carry on a draped rein. That is a huge difference

  • When a horse's head is in that position it allows him to lift his back which creates a more plesurable ride, when a horse's head is up his back is hallowed out which creates a more bumpy ride

  • HOW IS HIS DAD I LUV THIS HORSE

  • my new dream horse, has he sired any appy 's ?

  • Very impressive!

  • i love OHK and his hunt seat babies!

  • hunt seat babies???? where have you seen any OHK hunt seat offsprings?

  • The Krymsun Kat, Lil Bit of Krymsun... those are just some.

  • Karolina Krymsun 7th in 2008 congress HUS Masters

  • I just purchased a OHK/ mare by Kay Cee Leaguer 2 yr old " Plain Jane" about 2 months ago and I am in love with her. She has the best disposition ever. And also the easiest horse I have ever started!!

  • gorgeous horse!

  • this is an awesome stud he moves so with ease and doesnt look mad he doesnt have his ears pinned back the whole ride some of the best pleasure horses may be awesome but a lot hate what they are doing he looks like he enjoys being out their and showing himself off.! WISH he was a bit taller though it may just be the man though

  • He is a solid 16 hands and maybe a bit more now that he's all grown up. :-)

  • WOW what a horse. I love WP but some horses do look like they are broken when they lope. He is awesome great looking horse!!!!!

  • This horse is great!

I wish my horse was good enough for that=]

But he is too fast and he bucks too much for this.

How do you know when to switch leads?

  • Your right this horse is a great mover i actually show western pleasure horses but it takes alot to get them looking right and alot of the horses that move a little slower look alot better then the ones that are speeding down the arena at congress.

  • this horse takes my breath away!!!! now this is what a western pleasure horse is supposed to look like!!!!! well i was wondering if u had an all around gelding with plenty show experience for sale. im looking for a show horse for my 14 year old daughter. thx!

  • dont get me wrong... i LOVE WP! but some of the horses go like theyre lame, and it drives me crazy. i love the hot and crazy uncontrollable english crazies! but WP is awesome, and i would LOVE to get my hands on a horse like that!!!!

  • Seriously! But I love my crazy western horse.

I would love to learn english though!

  • lol yea! like my horse bodacious! hes a warmblood thoroughbred cross. and hes HOT! and i mean HOT! and i love ittt!!! and my one thoroughbred maggie acts like a quarter horse. her b-day was monday, and shes 5. just off the track 3 months ago(the quietest horse ive ever known!)

  • Thats awesome! I love the name.

My dad almost bought me a Thoroughbred for me, but he decided two was enough=[ I need another one though.

  • I worked for the farm where he used to stand, if you like the way he moves you'll love his personality. He is the kindest gentlest stallion I have ever handled. He has a better disposition than all of the other horses I have ever handled, except maybe my little gelding, but I'm partial. In my experience his babies inherit both the movement and temperment! I have been a HUGE proponent of Jet since the moment I got to know him. This should be the direction we all strive to go with our WP horses.

  • Breath taking He is amazing and looks so happy and relaxed. A true western pleasure horse. Any paint Krymsun babies???/

  • My barn has a sorrel paint by OHK and Fleets Phoenix for sale. She's a gorgeous horse and a great mover. OHK has such pretty babies!

  • The western pleasure lope is certainly different from many other disciplines, but our modern pleasure horses are bred to move this way naturally. The best of them probably take the least training. :-) Dave Dellin always commented on how natural One Hot Krymsun was and he considered his job to be more of a fine-tuning with this horse. They aren't all that easy though.

    Thank you for the comments.

  • I wish i could afford a horse like that. Amazing.

  • WOW you guys look amazing I hope someday my pony will be willing to look like that:)

  • Watching this always leaves me breathless. I'm defiantly jealous of One Hot Krymsun!

  • No need to be jealous... why not let me find one in your budget?

  • Believe me I would LOVE to someday!!! :-D

  • hes amazing! my horse is getting there. (:

  • I love this horse and the way it moves and especially it's color is so pretty.

  • i love this horse! i wish mine was that slow! but i still love mine no matter wut!

  • I'm planning on breeding my Zippos Mr Good Bar bred mare to him next year! hopefully my grandpa
