Pat is pretty much one, if not the, best tuba players in the world. But he is also one of the nicest and funniest guys you will ever meet. I'm so glad I had the chance to play with him and shake his hand, and I hope to do so again in the future!

So, have you played Pat's custom Jupiter? I think not. Each player has to find what works for them.

Of course an artist of Pats caliber would have any builder drooling to build his dream horn.

It's nice you're proud of your horn but there are many Tuba builders out there that put both to shame.

This is about as fast as I've seen this played, although lots of tuba players play this as a show piece. Pat is a great player, and a nice guy. If you ever have the chance to see him live it's definitely worth it.

Ah, I still remeber freshman year in high school, this guy came and played this live for us with the tuba. It was incredibly badass.

Pat is still using his E-flat BESSON 983 tuba here but with a new paint job (even though he is now with Jupiter). I have the same model. Great tuba.

I got to work with him through the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. My audition that got me into the Corps my rookie season was to Mr. Sheridan. The guy is a genius. He was his own tuba professor!

that was almost at awesome as it was the first time! (but i must say that it would have been better if 1) it had been live (but you can't do that on camera..) and 2) if it had been a world-class french horn player instead of a world-class tuba player)

I was definitely sitting front row. At the end he almost slings his tuba into the audience he slung spit on the guy sitting next to me. Amazing performance.
