  • I would like to have one as a pet 2. Where do you get one that is guaranteed free of LEPROSY though?

My husband saw 4 of these while running one day and they tried to follow him.

  • Where is their fourth brother or sister?

  • those things will quickly fuck up your yard

  • is it ilegal to capture one and keep as a pet couse i see alot of videos of that

  • @scanjet1000

    actually no,those are endangered species.

the ones you get to have as a pet are more common species BUT they must be bought at a pet store and you have to fill out papers about safety and threatened papers for it

  • i do not understand why people say armadillo are the best animal fighter :S

    can somebody please explain

  • cute

  • i love Armadillos

  • Three babies? One is missing. I remember seeing on TV that after fertilization, an armadillo zygote splits into four. Armadillos give birth to quadruplets.

  • Depends on the species, other species of armadillos can give birth to everything from one to eight young.

  • not just quads, but identical quads

also they can delay pregnancy for up to three years as well

  • The camera pans to the right at 0:32 to 0:38, where you can see all three.

I heard the same thing as well.

  • babys? babies*

  • Not really.

    V

  • They're cute! This kind of armadillo is always born in quads . . . wonder where Mama & the other baby are?

  • Armadillos usually have 4 babies. what happened to the other one?

  • The hater that kills them with the shotgun is full of sh... They belong to the earth just as much as you and I. If you don't like them then you should not live there.

  • @bluez4u2 i would like to have this as a pet i would kickout my dog anytime for this awesome little guy

  • y did they flick it? what did it do too you? apart from being cincredibly cute and lking sweet!

  • One of the babies is missing, every litter of armadillos contains four identical Quadruplets.

  • This is to the leprosy comment only 1 out of a thousand I heard carries that disease and the chance that you can catch it is slim

p.s I read that in a health book so its gotta be pretty accurate

  • They are more susceptable to leprosy because of their low body temperatures. Unless a person lives in a damp, cold basement and/or has deficient immune system or is already sick, the chances are slim for a person to catch the disease.

  • They look wonderful can you handle them or are the likely to bite?

  • i don't think they have teeth

  • lol awe!!

  • they have very few small teeth. they eat mostly bugs so they dont chew much.

  • They do have teeth but they are peglike & not as adapted as the teeth of other mammals. The idiot above was correct about their claws: they are sharp and can make a pretty deep scratch. In gen, if you don't TRY to frighten them, they do not consider people to be an enemy so can be approached, but they can run or jump up if frightened. Most places in US protect them & prevent them from being captured or kept. That said, the ones I have met have been fairly docile & have let me approach & pet.

  • aww, how cute!

  • the best (or worst) part about this video is that they don't even seem to care that you're there.

  • donkey kong hates armidallos

  • donkey kong hates you

  • love armadillos.

    they are my life.

  • it's too bad that they carry leprosy

  • Cute little beggars!
