I got something to all ppl talkin about DR JONES going back in 1996 to take a SAMPLE of the virus by SHAKING HANDS with Dr PETERS :
How can someone , except James COLE, Pr.RAILLY, & Dr PETERS, KNOW that the source of contamination WAS Dr. PETERS ??? No one could know that in the future...there is no tracks....COLE dies after forcing a police stop in airport, PERIOD....Dr PETERS is never mentioned, nowhere, no tracks of him or his contamination projects...

you're wrong. Jones would be able to be sent back because they would have learned more in the future because they have a time machine.

Jones wasn't sent back...the final scene was her from the past not realizing that she had been sitting next to patient zero.
