  • @twiztid83222

No really $50.00 before tax ... and $74.00 out the door for the JVC KD-HDR60 that I returned the JVC KD-R310 for because I wanted HD radio too!!...

I have the receipts to prove it.

I only told you because it was a hell of a price and if you wanted to get one of these awesome radio's now they are on sale.

Cause I see that you paid $100.00 for yours.

It may just be my store and I got lucky.

Many times Best Buy will honor the lower price after you bought the radio.

  • also my system hits super hard, rattles my SUV, but it bothers me that i can't use those settings.

  • @ExtraTerrestrials do you have the rcas plugged into the subwoofer males on the back of the reciever? bc that is the only thing I can think of. If not then thats prob your problem

  • loudness is on, bass is turned all the way up on EQ, but when i go to SUB.W (L/O mode on) settings to adjust subwoofer frequencies nothing seems to be working there

when i scroll subwoofer option HIGH LOW MED it doesn't change the way it sounds and also the sub volume dosn't do anything.

  • yo man i hooked up subwoofer by using line output but in the settings for subwoofer i can't change anything ... it makes no difference to the sub. what's the problem man

  • @ExtraTerrestrials turn loud on, um turn bass up. etc. if that doesnt work then i have no more answers for your bc it should deff work very good . My system hit hard with those on even though it was distorted a tiny bit with the loud on option.

  • to get low hz out of mids/highs, you need a HPF. (high pass filter). ajust the HOF to around 50hz, what way everything below 50hz will be only produced through the subwoofer line.

  • btw is there a way for the colors to change by themselves?

  • Will this fit in a honda civic lx year 1999 or 1998

    forgot lol

  • have you used bluetooth with this? if so can you walk me through that? I am new to bluetooth and need to know how to set it up with my phone and what I would need in order to use the bluetooth on the stereo. Thanks

  • go to a station you want. hold the middle volume button in for a few sec untill it beeps then click the preset number you want for the station and click it in again. The buttons on the very left up and down will change your station. And your done. Also there are instructions on jvc.com you can download quick.

  • how does the fm radio work? since there are no presets that i can see do you save them somehow and then flip through them? could you explain a little more of that to me please. thanks

  • @MegaPolishWonder I replyed to your question. I forgot to reply it to you like this.

  • Since you have a GM vehicle did you have to buy an adapter to retain your door chimes and warning chimes?

  • @chaseman94 I never knew that a 98 s10 had door chimes or warning chimes. If they did I wouldnt want them anyways. I didnt buy a harness for the deck , I wired it myself with crimpers and connects. And I didnt notice anything differently. Its very easy to do , just find a stereo wiring diagram for your model/year and save 20$

  • @twiztid83222 I was wondering if you had to buy one. I have a '05 Grand Am and they said you need one to retain your chimes and keep from having check engine light errors due to no longer having a stock radio. But since your ride is a '98 I guess this was before GM made it so you need to buy something extra in order to use an aftermarket radio so it doesn't cause a glitch in your vehicle. Either way I still plan on getting one and nice setup you got.

  • @chaseman94 Thanks, that setup is old , I upgraded to 2 15" Audioque's and theres vids of that. Now there out and im trying to sell my s10 to get a blazer to put 4-6 aq's in there with a crescendo 3k amp

  • I am going to update my videos soon to this deck. I keep forgetting my camera when I go out.

  • I got this stereo about a month ago. I have Rockford Fosgate t500-1bd amp with prefab box of 2 P2's 12 inch. I have it on natural EQ setting. I have the amp half way on gain with bass boost off on amp. It is very loud on these setting with CD at volume 20. I also got kenwood mid speaker up front, with tweeters on top of doors. So it sounds sweet to the crappy Sony XPlod deck I had before.

  • @dustyshot also, have the loud off too. The loud on it would just be insane. I would probably blow subs with it on.

  • because it's necessary to have that many huge speakers in a tiny enclosed space

  • From what I understand (from a review) there is a way to turn down the bass but I am not 100% sure how to do it (I just bought/installed the deck today and haven't had time to mess with it) but there should be instructions in the manual.

  • @devo85x in the Pro Eq.

  • I'm planning on buying this deck at best buy during this week. How has the deck treated you so far?

  • @ballshooter44 Get it. Its great for the price. If your running subwoofers make sure you get bass blockers for the speakers if you like your deck bass settings very high because it doesnt have settings just for the speakers alone. Pioneer is good for those settings. Bass blockers are like $5.00 a peice or less . You can pick them up anywhere online or in stores sometimes.

  • @ballshooter44 also there is a loud setting and if you want BIG OUTPUT for subs/speakers turn it on because stock it is off

  • @twiztid83222 ya i saw the price there yesterday and saw very good comments about it, which is why i wanted to get it. This will be my first time buying a car deck plus i gotta pay to get it installed by best buy, which i wont like but what can i do about it. Thanks for all the info you've provided, if I have any more questions ill be sure to leave a message.

  • Bought this radio earlier today at Best Buy. For $99 bucks, it's loaded with features. Very happy with it.

  • @AUJackson34 nice. If you find out the option to turn the bass down in the speakers let me know.

  • Speakers should have amps and a high pass filter on them.

You don't just run the deck to the stock speakers....

  • @twiztid83222 haha word man wat u got in ur system looks like u got some cvrs?

  • lol yea iknow walmart i do that all the time lol

  • oh no man i bought the deck when circuit city was around it was a open box item and its a sony.. my cusin has the same problem as you are havin with his fronts his rear 6x9 have bass blockers ..i feel stupid bumpin then it turns off lol it goes to vol 40 but between 22-25+ jus shuts off and i was thinkin that jvc jus til i get my kenwood dvd player

  • @BIGwooferJAY I bought bass blockers before . Ill pick them up soon. One thing you can do is find the exact or close to the same deck , buy it. Put the junk one in the box and return it for full cash refund. Bam problem solved. Thats how you get lifewarrenty for everything you buy.

  • oh yea lol my cuz has the same problem his front 6x9 bump really hard..mine shuts off if its too loud idk

  • @BIGwooferJAY Who the fuck makes a deck without a cut off frequency for your fronts and rear speakers. Im about to call jvc tommorow. And about your deck turning off if its too loud. Thats prob a wiring problem. Could be the deck itself and I would send it back to jvc for a replacement.

  • u like that deck?

  • @BIGwooferJAY Yea its really nice for the price , I just cant figure out how to take low hz out of the front speakers... Its really pissing me off.
