Soundgarden is probably the best band from Seattle. Nirvana had some fine songs, but only "In Utero" was a piece of art like every SG album, AiC closed theirselves in grunge and grunge only, while Soundgarden didn't stop to develop in their music.

Sure, they got really big, and they were around for merely 5 years. as they became "overrated", frontman kurt cobain had stated that he was leaving the music business, because they were soon to become sellouts, and he did not want make music as a sellout. they were there own style, and appealed to many people. like venusasaboy1991 said, they all brought theyre shit to the table and kicked some serious ass that is never to be forgotten.
