Tutorial: How to Play the Ninja 1H Warrior

Im trying to become a warrior hybrid but i dont know how to switch my 1h weapon to 2h just pressing one button. Can u tell me how?

I've NEVER been able to hit a person between dodges, what the heck? Your shield bash's range is also ridiculous. I know most people are very angry at dscouts for their sneakiness, but I find that legit. But shield bash... it's just so glitched. When in the animation exactly does it hit? I've never been able to dodge it. I would be dodging as they shield bashed, and the stun would still register where I landed.

@KachiOya It's kind of a combination of lag and actual skill timing. The range of shield bash is the same range as any DScout breaking skill. Each skill can actually go further than you think.

Cool video, Im making a sword warrior so this was very helpful! I just need to know what you used to record this.. Its excelent picture and the recorders I use are not so good :/ If you could tell me that would be great, and also how did you record your vent ?

@Scotchietape19 I used fraps (free version that lets you only record 30 seconds). The fraps automatically recorded my vent

@a0001521 Yeap! Hide itself doesnt have a sound animation, so I thought I'd pick one up from a previous game I played. I didnt think the Windwalk sound from DotA/WC3 would fit in too well so I used the Spy's sounds

@narutoxninja37 to be serious, this tutorial is similar to the tf2 spy tutorial made by EvilDaedalus: decloak sound in the intro, same play style (ninja = spy) and same music

So, im a 1h Warrior, but i went through the Sonic path, im almost with Crumble now but i can rarely kill many people in battle (1~3 per battle). I usually Bash>Fire them 3 times and run until i get enough pw to Force Impact them until they die, but that dosen't work very well imo... What do you suggest? I want to get better...

@KuroiGuita Kills shouldnt be priority. Sure you can be a good killer if you pick your targets right, but 1H warriors are a mainly support class (DoT, Slow, Stun). Always be with teammates, and 1~3 kills per battle is pretty decent for a starter, just dont die too much. Temperance (knowing your limits and restraint) is one of the four cardinal virtues.

@achooly Called a ninja because you're not supposed to be seen when you do your combo. You sneak behind the lines and abuse their blindspots. You're basically a dagger scout w/o the hide. They wont know you're coming until they eat your shield bash

Pfft. My counter tactic to this sort of thing is absolutely foolproof.

yea, i have been killed only once by this method. now. when a 1h war comes i get to the side of em(blind zone) and Piercing shot, and i am pretty sure i have done this to you a few times

@CDRNark What's your IGN? I too noticed that more 1Hers are trying to implement this. Some of them get it easy, some of them cant be ninja enough >_>

@narutoxninja37 Roxia, yea from my experience with BF2/CoD4 i have always got an eye on my radar, always switching from proximity to full views so i generally see em coming, but they need to add the damn fencer already this PStrike bullshit is getting old

@KittenyKat Too long to explain >_> If I make a video tutorial it would be REALLY boring. The basics of my assault utilize range skills like Force Impact and and Sonic Boom to wear and tear at the enemy HP bars. When the chance comes and your team starts to push hard, you start moving in for stuns. My support usually involves being smack-dab in the front using Stamper and Blaze while stunning if possible.

There's a LOT of different aspects to these and I'm too lazy to explain it to the fullest.
