  • lol i can't believe some of you think this is elvis lol

  • It's a shame Elvis couldn't have covered this. Freddy Mercury was a wonderful singer and performer, but I think he would say (if he weren't dead) that he'd written this song for Elvis.

  • Very good :-) un régal...

  • Elvis died 2 years before this was written!!! Freddie wrote this in a hotel in Germany

  • @andyguitarfan Then how the fuck is he singing it right now?...

  • THIS IS A SONG OF ELVIS, LIKE SWEET HOME ALABAMA!

  • Freddie Mercury wrote this song in 1979 .

  • @zaccozecc thanks for letting us know! i saw a queen documantery on tv and the said that freddie wrote this song and i was like: mmm elvis sung this to so who wrote it? and i treid to google it but is was no where to be found. so thank you!

  • This song wrote Freddie Mercury!!! It belongs to Queen. It is a documented fact!!!

  • Wow, im a queen fan but my fellow freddie lovers are making fools of themselves, yes queen's version of this was amazing but freddie didnt 'create' ths song, elvis did and we must respect this, cus if it wernt for elvis one of the greatest songs ever wouldnt have happened, so lets just love the king and queen :)

  • Get real. Elvis did whatever he wanted to however he wanted to do it. He, like many people, could change his voice when he chose to and change his life if he chose to, which he did. Boredom is a good reason for change. He didn't live according to what you think about the situation but according to what he wanted for his life.

  • THIS IS JIMMEY "ORION" ELLIS.

ONE OF THE BEST NATURAL VOCALS TO ELVIS. HIS BIO IS INTERESTING AND SAD.

  • Elvis THE KING OF ROCK AND I WISH Elvis WAS STILL A LIVE

  • If things were different and The King got to sing this in concert as a cover, Freddie would have been proud as punch. He was a massive Elvis fan, and sang a few songs in Elvis style as a tribute to the King.

    Nice cover from singer here.

  • Elvis died in 1977 and this song was made in 1979 so I don't think he ever sang this song.

  • elvis did made this song, everyone else sing it,

  • @bigbob68100 h t t p :/ / e n . w i k i p e d i a . o r g / w i k i / Crazy_Little_Thing_Called_Love

See, the AUTOR is Freddie Mercury.... also the first ones on sing it and to make it hit No1 where Queen

  • This is the 1 and only Jimmy Ellis aka Orion...Elvis never did this song!!!!!!

  • los de queen son unos putasos elvis invento esta cancion mucho mas antes q a ellos se les ocurriese cantar

  • Can't say this is Elvis but it sounds very much alike, maube the lower tones are perhaps not the same quality Elvis could perform. However, this is a work of style and I appreciate it. Thanks phantasm2000 :-)

  • I love Queen and The King i think they both sing it great, definatly different but both amazing :3

  • THUMBS UP if u heard this song in Mars Needs Moms!

  • I don't understand. Queen wrote and produced that song in 1979. Moreover, it also was released in 8th October 1979 and Elvis died in 1977. Can someone tell me this confusion? Thanks!

Note: Incredible song ;) Love Elvis's interpretation :)

  • @bumb9 It's not actually Elvis, just a really good impersonator. :)

  • Luv it.

Elvis style is marvelous too ... different

    Great preformance !

  • THIS IS ELVIS!!!!!!!!

  • iim concufed? is this a elvis impersonater? or what? what the fuck is goin on here?

  • Well, it does say beyond the grave...Lady Gaga must feel cheated that Elvis isn't singing any of her songs.

  • Cara, eu não sabia que esta música era do Elvis

  • @961479 Essa música é do Queen, amigo.

  • Gaaaah i love this song so bloody much! Elvis sings it so well!

  • This song is wirtten by Freddie!!!...No shit you all. Way to go Captain Obvious

  • esa cancion he legitimamente de elvis

  • The video is a bit dull...

  • The video is a bit dull...

  • his name is Jimmy Ellis

  • this dude sounds exactly like elvis.theres another dude that tries to sing this like elvis and fails at it.this dude here has it down sounds just like him amazing

  • it's fake ^_^ the original is write F.Mercury (queen).

  • Queen's Freddie Mercury wrote this song, sounds like Elvis' style, Elvis impersonator performs it and thus this video is made. (Good impersonator!)

  • WTF? Queen owns Elvis and every Elvis impersonator

  • Jimmy did a fabulous job on this.

    TCB DANNY

  • Awesome song. Thanks for this brilliant share.

  • They forgt to say Ready Freddie

  • Fantastic.

  • atoooron!

  • Hermosa version!!!

  • dees is just ni zoe goe as freddie mercury

freddie is en bleft den beste

mor queen eed jailhouse rock oek gecovert in rock motreal

    mor dan elvis weer beter

freddie rock's my friends he will never die until he's songs sucks ( they never will)

  • Its jimmy orion ellis singing it as far as I know :),a brilliant elvis singer.

  • This is Elvis singing, he wrote this song! =)

Freddie and Elvis are both still alive!

  • @anirak1988PT Freddie Mercury wrote this song... -_-

  • NO ONE BUT NO ONE COULD SING THIS AS GOOD AS ITS CREATOR THE ONE AND ONLY FREDDIE MERCURY !!!!!!! R I P FRED

  • @bigdad69ish Fred is one of the best singers ever, but if there`s a Fred's song Elvis would perform nicely, it's this song.

  • Everyone knows Elvis is still alive.... so it could be his voice. :)

  • this song belong QUEEN!!

  • @followantolinoleader No... Elvis Presley wrote this, and then Queen re-wrote a little. But its original owner is Elvis. Elvis couldn't have taken it from Queen, because Elvis died before Queen wrote 'Crazy little thing called love'. Queen just changed it a little bit.

  • @vkristinadalum ya i just did my research and he's right...elvis wrote it dude

  • @followantolinoleader No, this song belong to THE KING!

  • @followantolinoleader Bah people so mad with queen.. If anyone does a good cover of Pink Floyd or any random rock band it's great, when someone makes a cover of Queen it's "OMG IT BELONGS TO QUEEN GO IN HELL" seriously, how open minded are you

  • Lying jerk this isn't the only one he has up claiming to be Dwight Yoakam or Elvis.

  • @tomlovin2 he's not Claiming it's elvis, it clearly says elvis reborn, common sense tells you that it's an impersonator

  • Does somebody knows who sings this GREAT SONG in Spanish? Thanks in advance!

  • @FanDeLosGatosMX Rondalla de Medicina - Amorcito loco

  • Great song, Freddie probably written it with Elvis in mind.

  • ... REBORN IN REHAB...

  • This is Jimmy Ellis (aka Orion). He recorded multiple albums on the Sun Record label until he was gunned down in 1997.

  • @leemitton he was shot Dec. 12, 1998...and he quit sun records long before then!

  • if this is an impersonator, this is the best damn impersonator i've ever heard and i've heard quite a few.

  • @quagmire19 You obviously haven't heard Elvis if you think this guy is all that great.

  • @quagmire19 he was no impersontator..jimmy used his own natural voice when he sang and he had lots of songs of his on that Elvis never sang!

  • this version is of course great too.. don't compare elvis and freddie... both were great... ;) in their own way... :)

  • ★ⒺⓁⓥⓘⓈ♔ⓐⓐⓇⓞⓝ♔ⓅⓇⒺⓈⓁⒺⓨ★

    ❤♬♫✵ⓙⓐⓝ ➑♔➊➒➌➎ ●●●► ⓐⓤⒼ ➊➏♔ ➊➒➐➐✵♬♫❤

  • awesome! check out our band's little cover of this =)

  • Guys someone please explain me a thing.

I know there are a lot of elvis impersonators, but... do they copy the voice too?

I mean, ok they can look like him, but can they sing like him?

Are you so sure an impersonator can sing like the original?

  • i have to say elvis rules but i like the Queen version better.

  • Dude, you know this is a Queen song dont you? XD

  • GOOD IMPRESSIONIST

  • @BOBCARUANA1956 Jimmy was no impressionest...he was just himself...this voice was natural.....he only did a few tributes to Elvis because it was requested of him....He was a very GREAT entertainer in his own right!!!

  • i know this is not elvis but regardless who is the impersonater man this sounds awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! elvis would be proud. thanks queen for this song!!!!

  • The Elvis impersonater is Doug Church.

  • @opelmanta1968 no you are wrong, this is from jimmy "orion" ellis not from doug

  • @TheLollerz ah ok dough churcu as sing the same song but is not this :)

  • @opelmanta1968 can u link me doug church version?? =)

  • @TheLollerz in youtube i not found but is a son from cd Kingtinued, you faun a demo in this link "cdbaby.com/cd/voiceofelvis"

  • @opelmanta1968 Thanks! i think ill buy it!!! =D

  • @opelmanta1968 THIS JIMMY ELLIS....Jimmy WAS NOT AN IMPERSONATOR.....HE DID A FEW TRIBUTES BUT WAS NEVER AN IMPERSONATOR!....HE HAD SEVERAL CD'S WITH HIS OWN SONGS....HE DID HIS OWN SHOWS WITHOUT SINGING 1 ELVIS SONG.........HE WAS NOT AN IMPERSONATOR!

  • @barbdel56 Ok.. Thanks! :)

  • Uhh ez olyan szuper..:)

  • Elvis Presley deaths in 1977 this song was written in 1979 by Queen(Freddie Mercury) how does Elvis sing this song......(sorry for the english i'm italian)

  • awesome song!

  • I cant believe i just got a e-mail saying jimmy was killed in the 90's. That is so sad (but then he said e-mail was from Jimmy Ellis Orion confused). Anyway this guy could have been making millions of dollars in vegas. I am a comedian who performs in the northwest at the end i do impersonations and Elvis is my closer and im ashamed I dont sound anywhere close to this man.

  • This is not Elvis, This is Jimmy Ellis, Not Elvis. Jimmy Ellis was Orion the one with the mask. He was a great talent but not the talent of Elvis. So This is good but it is not Elvis at all. I am 100% correct on this no doubt

  • If only ELVIS HAD DONE THIS SONG, MY GOD IT WOULD STILL BE hitting all records off the board!!

Every time i hear this song i wish ELVIS HAD SUNG IT!

  • Not Elvis - It´s Jimmi Ellis "Orion"

  • Honestly..the first time ever before I knew Queen and I heard this song.. I thought it was in the style of Elvis.. even the legwork is there.. :)

  • AWESOME I thought i was a good impersanator i don't come close. This guy needs to be recognized. I am 41 and this puts a thrill through me i havent in years

  • @49erinn His fans have bee ntrying to get him recognition for years. Unfortunately Jimmy was shot and killed Dec. 12, 1998. By the way this is Jimmy Ellis Orion!

  • I'd love to know who really sung this...it'sa great rendition..and a sensational voice.

  • @berkeleyhome Jimmy Ellis Orion

  • Who is this Elvis impersonator ?????

  • @63benters yeah I wonder the same since i found out that this song couldn't be made by Elvis o.O this dude is skilled

  • @zyriuz2 The singer you are hearing here is Jimmy Ellis (Orion). He was not an Elvis impersonator...this is Jimmy's natural voice..unfortunately, Jimmy is also gone. we lost him to a robber in who shot and killed him in 1998!

  • @barbdel56 Not an impersonator but wore a mask to hide his face as rumors spread he was Elvis, recorded using Sun Studio and almost entirely recorded Elvis songs. I agree...he wasn't an impersonator. He was a fraud.

  • @illusionistdave It is a shame that there are still so many idiots like u out there who know absolutely nothing about Jimmy...Sun records signed Jimmy up when they heard him sing..they ordered him to wear the mask against his wishes..he never tried to fool anyone which is why his contract was cancelled when he refused to wear the mask any longer...he went by "Orion" not Elvis during this time....and his fans (as well as Elvis's fans should) can tell the difference in the voices.

    '

  • @barbdel56 You are the idiot. You actually believe Sun Studio put a gun to Jimmy's head and said that THEY had to be the record company he signed with? GIve me a break. He di it for the fame. It was a cheap way to get lots of record sales. Also btw, I can tell the difference between Elvis's voice and his. He sounds like a guy who obviously tries to sound like Elvis while Elvis sounds....like Elvis.

  • @illusionistdave you don't know one thing about Jimmy...so therefore u should keep your stupid comments to yourself...It just makes me so mad when people say things about people and they don't know a thing about them. AND JIMMY'S VOICE WAS HIS VERY OWN, HE WASN'T TRYING TO SOUND LIKE ANYONE UNLIKE SOME THESE IMPERSONATORS WHO DON'T EVEN COME CLOSE!

  • @barbdel56 I notice you didn't address my points. Btw, I think Jimmy was a very good singer and had he wanted to portray himself as a real ETA he would have gone MUCH farther and been loved by many many Elvis fans...Sadly he just seems like a sellout.

  • @illusionistdave Sadly Jimmy is no longer with us..he was shot and killed in 1998..he had many fans..his own and Elvis fans...He did not wear that mask until he signed with sun records and they then forced him to wear the mask or lose his contract. Please do not send me any more comments cause you have know idea what Jimmy went thru nor do you know anything about him!!!!!!

  • @barbdel56 I knew all of that. Btw, you're the idiot if you sit there and tell me something about someone and then say I don't know anything about them. lmfao

  • @illusionistdave yu both are so ignorant.

  • @63benters He was not an impersonater. He was Jimmy Ellis Orion. That voice you hear was his natural voice. He was killed by a robber in 1998.

  • Wow. That 1lricardo is a classy gent. Check out my channel to see what he posted.

Don't bother watching my videos, they all suck anyway. hahaha.

    PS- ORION RULES!!!! WOOHOOO!!!

  • @THEKING: In this case, a work of art, the song "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", had been performed by the ORIGINAL artists, Queen, Then, a DIFFERENT artist, "Elvis Reborn" performed (beautifully, I might add), the song, and imitated, or "spoofed" Elvis Presley singing it. Hence, this song was a "parody". Just because they didn't spoof QUEEN, that does not mean it wasn't parodied. If you disagree with this, please give us your definition of the word, if you don't mind. Good Grief...

  • It's a cover, dummy. I don't see the "spoofing", therefore it is not a parody. Parody implies humor. There is no humor.

Now go Charlie Brown it, please.

  • @THEKlNG (and I've figured out it's the king of idiocy)- I'll explain this to u ONE more time- NO, this is NOT a cover. U see, a COVER is when one artist sings another artist's song, but does it in his OWN style. To wit: UB40 re-did "Can't Help Falling in Love", and that WAS a cover, b/c they did it in their unique, UB40 style. Had ELVIS done this song, it WOULD be a cover. But, Elvis Reborn did it, ala Elvis Presley!

  • @1lricardo It is a cover, retard. A cover of a song by Queen. How stupid can one person be? Also, Elvis Reborn? The man singing is the late Jimmy Ellis AKA Orion. Try to get the facts straight after you ATTEMPT to belittle someone.

And maybe instead of using the wrong word such as parody, you could use some of the right ones, such as: remake, reworking, version, in the style of, redo, imitation, impression, duplicate, etc.

  • @1lricardo there is no Elvis Reborn...the singer in all or most of these songs is the late Jimmy Ellis Orion who was shot & killed Dec.12, 1998...Please let him be recognized..He had a lot of talent that the music industry left uncovered because his voice was so simular to Elvis.

  • Everyone who's saying this isn't Elvis, you're absolutely right- it's a PARODY, which by definition is another artist's "take" on another artist's work! If the poster never clearly said that this is NOT Elvis, maybe they didn't think they HAD to tell people that a song that wasn't released until almost freakin' 1980 isn't being sung by the King. Maybe they presumed that people of average intelligence would know that already! Geez! I, for one, LOVE this parody! Where can I get a C.D.?

  • That's not the definition of a parody.

  • @THEKlNG . okay "King" (of what, I wonder), I am sorry I was unclear re: the definition of the word "parody". I'll proceed slowly. According to Webster, a "parody" is "an original work of art, performed by an artist, which is then performed, or 'spoofed' by a different artist"....

  • @1lricardo go to the Orion Jimmy Ellis Official website..u can order his CDs there!

  • This is the GREATEST thing I've ever heard! My two favorite singers of all time- Elvis and Mercury- come together (while in heaven, I like to think) and Elvis does his cover of Freddie's song!!! Thanks a million times over for this!!

  • I'd like to hear "Elvis" try his hand at "Should I stay or should I go?"

  • For your information this isn't elvis. The song is written in 1979. And became populair in 1981. This is an elvis impersonator. They recorded populair songs after his death with elvis impersonaters. So... but we all do know that if elvis had did this song it would have rocked.

  • I totally agree on you

  • @RAW2408 i hate the impersonaters, they are so fat..always

  • @RAW2408 This is not an impersonater! It is none other than Jimmy Ellis Orion who was shot and killed in 1998. He was from Alabama and this was his natural voice.

  • @RAW2408 For your information this is not an impersonator. It is Jimmy Ellis, a great singer and performer who happened to sound a lot like Elvis without intending to.We lost Jimmy in 1998.

  • @barbdel56 Oh make no mistake. He was an impersonator.

  • @illusionistdave There is no mistake...Jimmy WAS NOT AN IMPERSONATOR.....HE DID A FEW TRIBUTES BUT WAS NEVER AN IMPERSONATOR!....HE HAD SEVERAL CD'S WITH HIS OWN SONGS....HE DID HIS OWN SHOW WITHOUT SINGING 1 ELVIS SONG.........HE WAS NOT AN IMPERSONATOR!

  • @barbdel56 How do you explain all the Elvis songs he did and the profit he made from hiding behind the mask because people thought he was Elvis?

  • @illusionistdave Jimmy did a few tributes to Elvis because people asked him to(mostly Elvis fans)...He made no profit..if any profit was made it was Sun Records who made it....All Jimmy ever wanted was to be a star in his own right..he did not want to be associated with Elvis....an because of his voice being so close to Elvis a lot of music industries would not play his music so he never made it as big as he should have! He was a GREAT artist in his own right and should have been recognized more

  • @RAW2408 GREAT! i knew that it wasent elvis and then i go add it into my concert stelist for the tribute for him..........

  • @RAW2408 true. elvis died in 1977, this was a hit for queen in 1979, do the math.

  • @RAW2408 BTW this song was composed by the one and only Freddy Mercury in 1979.

  • 79 i think

  • Queen NEVER recorded anyone elses songs so dnt lie pal !!!

  • the original is by dwight yoakam!

  • dwight yoakam's version is from the late 90's. Queens version is much older.

  • ur delousional....THIS AINT ELVIS...i sed its a good video just nt \Elvis...Queen rock this song better than anyone !

  • pshhhh dont mind comment below Elvis rocked this song

  • Its Queens version and it aint Elvis its fake but ver good

  • Definately not Elvis, good though

  • FAKE

  • ok... i need to get this straight... who's the original by... queen or elvis, cause i think its elvis then i see all these people saying it was queen

  • @HockeyFanster13

i believe it was elvis... especially since he was around before queen.

  • The song was written by Freddie Mercury, the lead vocalist of Queen.

  • Freddie Mercury would feel deeply honored to hear that :)) Excellently made!

    saludos

    ELVIS IS ALIVE

  • La cancion, es de Freddie mercury

    NO de Elvis...

    que demonios pasa aqui :S

  • Yeap - the song was written by Freddie Mercury. You can't pay attention to the others. :)

  • Thank you for posting! I love this song!

  • realmente es elvis... pk el nunca murio ... mi tio ke vive en argentina es uno de sus amigos intimos del grupo mas cercanos y son realemnte pocos asi ke lo ke digo es vdd

    ELVIS IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • elvis don't death

  • Wow...amazing comments. To all who are yelling out "Freddie Mercury sang this song not Elvis!" and "Elvis died in 1977 whereas the song came out in 1979" etc, just click on the profile of the guy who posted this. phantasm2000ad has been uploading songs which Elvis NEVER sang. An Elvis impersonator, therefore, has been recording songs which Elvis never sang, giving us a taste of what the song MIGHT have sort of sounded like had Elvis recorded it. That's all.

  • he's alive.....

  • This is bullshit. It sounds nothing like Elvis and FREDDIE MERCURY wrote this song, so I thnk whoever posted as being by Elvis needs to get their facts straight.

  • Cadê o v[ídeo? Where's the video? ¿Dónde está el vídeo? Où est la vidéo?

  • It's a Queen song written by Freddie Mercury in 1979 and Elvis died in 1977 so he NEVER sang it !

  • Montagem pois o Elvis morreu em 1977 e essa música foi composta em 1979.

  • Pure bullshit.

  • thats right, nobody can with the king of king BULSARA (MR. FREDDIE MERCURY)

  • javier29 how about this. YOU SUCK!

  • 5*** Jimmi did a great job on this song, thanks for you vid & song - Dr. K

  • queen wrote this song

  • No where could I find on any Elvis album that Elvis did this song including the one by poster jordanriversk where he claimed Elvis did the song in 1971. Queen recorded it as a single first, then included it on an album. Later, Dwight Yoakam did a country version. An Elvis impersonator and many others did this song too. The one by Rihanna is an entirely different song - different tune and words. It is not the only Elvis - like song done by Queen, for they also did "Man on the Prowl".
