i wanted to buy this for rock band on my birthday and i also would like to play real drums how do i do this tho i buy the brain to play but what do i plug that in to to make the sound i need anwsers plz thank you
Tony the brain (alesis dm5) makes the sound. You need to amplify it or use headphones. I use an electronic mixer to combine the drum sounds with my mp3 player and then amplify it . I can also just plug headphones into my mixer to hear both the music and my playing.
you can. depending on your amp quality it may or may not sound good. Most guitar amps dont support the full range...but they are cheaper than amps built for drums...I use a guitar amp sometimes but its only 15 watts and thats pretty pitiful..lol
could you tell me who originaly plays this? and im also interested on the drum i want to buy my brother some drums like this how much did you pay for everything like drums dm5 and extrra hi hat in total? thanks
The music is from Trans Siberian Orchestra. The ION drum set was about $280, The DM5 was about 225 on ebay, the Hi-hat was another 40 dollars or so on ebay. The kick pedal and pad combo was I think about $70. If you shop on ebay things are less expensive..sometimes..
The hi-hat cymbal can be moved more to the left of the snare instead of up where you have it, right?
Other than that, the sound seems pretty good on it and everything. I'm considering getting this set as my next major purchase, both for RB2 and as a regular electronic kit, once I get the extra money for the brain.
i play the cue stick drums

Are you able to rotate the snare to a more normal position or is it stuck where it is?
bigmasterjay 2 years ago
Nope you can move the snare up down, the bar its mounted on swivels closer in or out. pretty much anywhere
