Nice to see Tony Wilson on vocals (very well I might add) despite the fact I am a huge Errol Brown fan. Is that Ian King on drums? It's definately not Tony Connor who took over in 1973.
Go Tony go!!! At long last we get to see and hear the legendary Tony Wilson in person!! Jeffzpla Thanks a lot for this highly infectious, tune from the inimitable Tony Wilson of former Hot Chocolate. Hopefully it is not too late for TW to get the recognition his prodigious talent deserve.
love this song, it really gets to the heart strings any body who loved and lost will know what I'm talking about . i was surprised to see another band member take lead vocal. Did they record any other songs in which Errol brown did not take lead vocal?
@yell50 YES!!! Songs like "Loves Coming On Strong", "Lay Me Down", "Call The Police", "I Believe In Love" all songs sung by TONY WILSON the same guy singing lead in this video clip.
A very nice song from 1972.... a time of so many wonderful songs... these days you only listen to a lot of lousy music, that is why videos like this one are so welcome. THX so much for posting this video.
Than for the upload - jeffzpla. Been searchhing for this tune. One of my favs from the 70's.
This song will always remind me of a few people from back in the day ...the late Stan Cat & Joe(Louis). Good musicians who used to play the songs that I used to enjoy. RIP.
IIRC November 16th 1972. Oh sorry, Erroll Brown did not provide the vocals for this song, but he played on guitar and penned the vocals for the chorus, but he would be the lead frontman in 'Brother Louie' and other singles the following year.
lovely song, love it!!
