where is my marimba 2? Our school is doing this song and all the cool stuff got put on xylophone. It sounds better with all the different intstruments. good job anyway. oh and thats a strange setup. i like it better when i can see everyone. but then again the xylophone stole all the other intsruments parts.
So, he arranged the David Steinquest version into a full band arrangement, THEN re-arranged it BACK into a percussion ensemble piece? Doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't like the xylophone feature, especially with the instructor playing it. There is a REASON it was written as an ensemble in the first place, no a solo featurette. Good playing everybody else though.

Nice job screwing with the arrangement. The solos go back and forth between each player, it's not like one person plays all the fast stuff.
That was weak, and taken way too fast in the beginning.

I totally agree. It sounds so much better when you put the marimba in and let the marimba and vibe take solos and not just the xylophone
