It makes the rest of us look like the wankers in the guitar store trying to play a worthless *Impress your friends* kind of lick LOL get a metronome and slow your licks down on the clean channel and learn how to alternate pick...

A) i wasn't directly insulting your ability to play music, i was simply implying that you don't really know what you're talking about. i personally know micah (the guitarist in said video) and i can say that he's not an "emotionless wanker". in fact, he'd rather have a solo with a beautiful melody than some random 240bpm crap.

My sound is down right now, so I can't really comment on the content of your soloing, except to note that you are doing a lot of shredding for just using 3 fingers. Anyone else notice that? Schenker used only 3 fingers also. Some blues players only use 2!

My friend, this was OK i didn't find anything here that seemed extrodinary and i just dont think your the shredder type, i mean i'm not dissing him or anything its just that, it wasn't to good, i mean he can easily work on that. But his sweeping was really good just needs to hit more melodic notes.

good, however i think there is too much influence from Malmsteen and Blackmoore, good skills i'd say work with the sweep picking on a less distorted tone and add a tiny bit of chorus

Hmm... I enjoyed it, but I think there were some things wrong with it. I'm no guitar expert, but the tone sounded a bit off, and it was a little too distorted. Also, it was a bit sloppy in certain parts, but that's no biggie. Over all, it was an excellent performace.
