I just bought Pjantasy Star 0 (I believe it's a zero) for the DS and as of first impressions it's really fun :) Is this as fun?

Me any my brother spent hours playing this game almost everyday training our butts off.. how I wish I still had a gamecube. PSO is truly one of the best games ever.

@chubbywalnut you need a broadband adapter for the gamecube, an ethernet cable, and then i found a server known as schthack. they have a website [not recently updated, but you can find them on facebook, too] and you have to download a psobb installer, and all that jazz. i'm currently in the process of doing all that.

@BRAZMAN500 Servers for PSO were shut down years ago... it can still be played on LAN or through (weird hacked) custom connections.

I loved this game! Wasn't fond of the later versions though, especially the card game version.

Now it looks as if PSO2 is "returning to its roots, the game play trailer is awesome!

i just orderd the xbox orig version,but cant even play it cause you need a gamertag etc even to play offline,which i bought it for lol. can this be played offline on wii,i should think so lol.

ok dont get mad people got a couple questions if u dont mind 1 can i play this game offline 2 can i create my own person and 3 is this 2 player off line like a story mode not vs thns for the time

yeah, the gamecube version can be played offline with up to 3 friends! the multiplayer-mode is coop, but there's also a battle mode, and "challenge mode" which is like a coop time-attack-mode. you can choose between 12 characters and have a lot of customization options to make your individual style =)

it's really an amazing game! and if you ever decide to play online (because online is even more fun), you can even use your offline-characters for online-play ;)

you need to buy a "broadband adapter" for your gamecube, and a gamecube-keyboard (optional). then check the forum at schtserv.com , they explain how to connect to the server ;)

the difference is that online has a lot of quests with much more monster spawns than offline, also playing & chatting with other people online is a lot more fun than playing alone ;)
