Some of it sounds almost like an imitation of a growl. If they are wolf growls, it's impressive. I have heard wolves make sounds that seemed to have a distinctly human quality. If my impression is correct, wolves may be one of the easiest animals to imitate.

COOLIST SOUND IN THE WORLD!!! I was lucky to mimick this sound almost perfect. I play airsoft with with the neighbor hood guys.(I'm a girl, and they are scared of me!!! LOL) So, I was hiding in the forest, it was starting to get dark out, and I was going to ambush them, but I decided to make them piss themselves by growling like a wolf. The actually fell for it!!!! And when they were running away, I did a really good wolf howl and they screamed some more!!!! I still haven't told them it was me!
