What Damian said about embedding is right. And I'm pretty sure that YouTube and all the other video sites keep a pretty good track record of how many people are sharing the videos on other sites. It shouldn't be that much of a deal to allow bloggers to post videos on their sites, because hardly anyone is going to track down an obscure blog just to see a video they could easily see on YouTube.
