SC10 Rockstar RTR

So is that the stock SC10 radio setup? I'm looking at this truck or the brushless SC10 on RCPlanet.com... its $300 and comes with 2.4ghz and a reedy 3300kv brushless set up. Which do you recomend? A setup like yours? Or the $300 setup

@MrPyroEnthusiast It's the stock radio and servo. I recommend the hobbywing setup. The Hobbywing setup is way easier to setup and adjust with the programming card. You will save yourself tons of frustration with the hobbywing setup.

Have you had any bad experiences with those batteries. I have 2 and 1 died after 5 uses and puffed up and the second will always play up on my charger

@MCgangsta11 theres a reason they call it sc10 - 10 meaning 1/10th scale, just like sc8e - 1/8th scale(dont take this the wrong way)

@LAMBORGHINIDYL Good question! I've never had a radar gun to test it. My best guesstimate would be about 40mph.

@LAMBORGHINIDYL I would go with the SC10 because you can race it. However, it will not be as fast as the e-revo out of the box. You'll have upgrade the motor and speed control

@LAMBORGHINIDYL It's faster and I'm sure more durable. It depends on your needs. If you want something to race get the SC10. I don't know of very many places that race the e-revo. However, if you are looking for something to bash..go with the e-revo.
