Superior to a Glock 18C? I doubt it. The Glock has an copmpensated bareel and readilyavailiable 33 round magazines. Plus, a good chunk of military and law enforcement types are already familiar with the Glock 17, 21, or 22.
This is awesome and a great idea but I could more easily point and shoot a head than rely on spraying and praying with a burst that last 2 seconds and may get you killed. But this is really cool
Ha. What happens when you miss? You've wasted 17 rounds of ammo then you're a sitting target while you re-load. In the meantime your cool-headed assailant takes aim and with one shot hits you right between the eyes.
Jesus. Thank fuck I don't live in America with all these gun obsessed loonies. Team America is not a Thunderbirds parody, it's a real life documentary on modern America.
Its a trade-off one has to choose. There may be situations like in LBI or riding an ATV or from a hatch of a tank where a full auto pistol might be desirable. Keep an open mind on the FUNCTIONALITY here. I'm not gun-obssesed and oncur on your points that gun ego is bad.
@nickbaldeagle01 "Team America" is nowhere near a "real life documentary on modern America." The fact that you make such an unfounded assumption is startling, considering the fact that you appear as though you wish to come off as intelligent. There are many, many people in America who are not "gun obsessed loonies." There are many responsible gun owners who agree with your philosophy of use as far as a weapon goes. And there are many people here who simply do not have guns.
@nickbaldeagle01 anyone who uses an automatic in the streets usually is in your face.that is a murder weapon not a personal defence weapon.anyone who carries an auto only pistol is an asshole and should be shot in face 17 times
I didn't know you could convert a 92fs to full auto, what about burst like the 93r? also I thought the beretta that the military is a little different from the 92fs, that's why it's called the M9.
Ya, I heard from this guy in the Marines if you remove this one part it can go full auto. He was quick to add that it tends to cook off so he didn't recommend doing it.
Who uses this?? Is there a fully automatic version of the M9 used in the army?? What about law enforcement. Seems like a few well placed rounds by an expert marksman would have a much more devestating effect on a target than a barrage of erratic poorly placed rounds.
The Beretta 92FS is awesome. But keep in mind fire discipline. If this thing cycles at a cyclic rate of 420 to 500 RPM you can easily exhaust your ammunition supply in a matter of minutes. Plus you must also remember that this fully automatic fire is only useful under probably 50-75 yards. Anything that is suppression fire.
It's still uncontrollable, but that is also irrelevant --- this isn't a rifle for shooting faraway gomers, it's for dealing with armed foes who are too close for conventional firearms, but at the same time too far for a knife or bayonet.
It doesn't need to be laser precise, as the target would be well within 10 yards.
haven't seen too many videos about people converting berettas. Guess the cost plays a part in that. Nice gun. Never had any interest in full auto pistols but i'm sure they are fun to shoot.
92fs conversion us patent 5596162, two ways to do it one is full auto from double action and the other on splits the selector in half for semi and full auto very nice!!!!!!!
Glock 18 requires the selector to be turned with one hand while you hold the gun with the other, the Beretta machine pistol can be switched with one hand when you are ready to fire
There's already a full auto Beretta,The M93r but I don't see the point in one.It sure would be fun to shoot this though ^^
