  • I go a 28.41 but its only my first year in USA swimming

  • I'm 13 and I go a 23.26 beat that.

  • @ethanspark2 In a 50 meters pool ? I highly doubt it...

  • @ethanspark2 Rofl just watched your channel and your obese head, I can't imagine how fat you are hahaha 23.26 my ass !! xD

  • bull, my swim mate does it in 20.69

  • lol. the 0:14 their swimming were faster than the dude's running

  • my best was 25 nearly 10 years ago

  • @Nagol98 I'm 14 and I go a 32 sec. Your pretty good

  • @ nago. If it were metres it would be okay. Im 14 and getting close to a 25 in metres

  • I've been swimming for a year, I'm 13 and I almost go a 27(in a yard pool though)

Is this a good time? I would really appreciate an answer from someone that watches this video.

  • @Nagol98 27 is pretty good time probably by the time u rech college if u contunue swimming u will drop by 6 seconds

  • @mh2blade Thanks I just wonderend cus my friends and family tell me that but I don't know if they were just saying that to make me happy.

  • my time is a 25.00

  • @AQUAMARINE98SWIM13 cool story bro

  • @AQUAMARINE98SWIM13 my 29 xp

  • 66patrickbrown : USA > France ? apparently not ! mouhahahahaha

  • lol they got the wrong red line

  • These guys are amazing -- huge turnover. Wish they would show the whole race instead of cutting to all the different camera angles. Show the world record, it takes less than 21 seconds.

  • USA > FRANCE

  • FUCK FRENCH PEOPLE!!

  • WTF?!? So the red line supposed to be Eaman Sullivan?????

  • Can't be the french record line either, or everyone in this final did beat it? #neeh

  • @farc09 look at world records from 2007-2009 and then in the year after...no one is really close. You must not had been using the right suit. Full body Jaked vs. jammer is no comparison

  • something must have gone wrong with the wr line because

    1. eamon sullivan is not that SLOW

    2. count it from the time he touches to the time the wr reaches

    3. there was only .36 of a gap between bousquet and the wr

  • It's during the French Championship, and the red line is french national record, not WR record.

  • The red line represents the time they would go without the suit.

  • Are you supposed to pull straight arm underwater if you're doing straight arm recovery?

  • @ADVERTlSEMENT no.... your supposed to have bent arms with high elbows in the water to maximize the amount of water you can pull.

  • what is frederick bousquet arm span

  • No way that the red line is the previous WR

He only beat it by 0.3, thats not 5 meters.

  • Well in fairness to Popov being the greatest 50 freestyler ever, I'd still give huge credit to freddie bousquet. he pulled off a 21.3 without a suit in the european championships.

  • Popov + jaked in his prime = GOD

  • ah c'es trop fun!!

car les 3 premiers en france sont en meme temps les meilleurs européens et mondiaux sur le 50m nage libre. (exepté cesar cielo)

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX

And who rules in Unemployment, Deficits and debt ?

For your information, the FMI is working on a 250 billions € (!!) plan to help Spain.

"Frogs" never needed such help except after a global war, but your country does... after years of global economic growth.

I personnally would never exchange a world champion football team against a wealthy State. There are the really important things...and there are the others, important only for dummies and losers.

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX The France is better than Spain in handball, rugby, athletics, swimming, rally, winter sport, judo ....

  • Rafa Muñoz just won the gold medal hell yea!! fuck u french frogs haha

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX look-up how many medals Spain will win at Budapest and after look-up how many medals French frogs will win ;-)

  • @MonkeySo6 who rules in cycling,football,basketball(after the usa)motor racing,tennis etc? Ok then.....

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX We talk swimming, don't try to get the shit out of me.

You said "fuck u french frogs" i didn't.

  • @MonkeySo6 n i still say fuck the frogs...we are better at sports

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX ok i noticed the fact that you're pretty arrogant but please try to say something clever for once !!

  • @MonkeySo6 jealousy is a bitch

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX Ok have a nice evening.

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX Do you seen....The French loosers won against the fukin awesome Spanish basket-ball team yesterday.

  • @MonkeySo6 yea with spain missin 15 free throws...spain lost it,france didnt win it

"do you seen"? work on ur english...french

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX you are still searching a way for justify the fact that spain is better in everything, but it's pathetic, you will never admit that you are wrong, spain missed 15 free throws and so what......the French team miss Tony Parker, Joakim Noah, Rony Turiaf, Michaël Piétrus, Rodrigue Beaubois.

Did you noticed, i've never said things like "fuck spain", "spanish faggot" or criticized your Engish mistakes (you did some) cuz i'm respectuous, you aren't.

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpainX lol Spain is part of third world compared to France....

  • the real world record is 21:64 by alexander popov without these suits...

  • Suites are gone. I'll miss them.

  • hi i'm 2 and a half and i swim a 50 in 4 seconds.

  • i know i couldnt swim this fast. but you have to hand it to the last lanes for doing good. they get those waves from all the swimmers next to them hittn them. middle lanes make me feel like they are giving you a handicap in swimming. but yano. all of them are good swimmers. i give them all 5 stars for tryn ;D

  • cesar cielo holds the world record now, for your information.....even though just by a few milliseconds :)

  • To MrMaddielover i would just lyk 2 say im a swimmer my self and i highy doubt that u swim a 23.74 at 14 yrs old the olympic consideration time is about 24 seconds and i dont think u have been in the olympics so nxt time dont brag about nothing.......nice work frederick bousquet ur my fav swimmer keep thoes records falling.

  • @georgy2123 Maybe in 50 yards, thats not overly fast for 14

  • @georgy2123 yards idiot, yards. I swim a 27.00 in meter.

  • all you need is lol ...

  • et moi en 0.00015 les 100métres !!!!

  • I go 25.51 at the age of 15 suck that bitches.

  • I'm 14 and I swim it in 23.74 why don't you suck that.

  • yards to meters... big defference

  • I'm 11 and i go 21.35

  • @branodi

    25 metres? yea right.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMaddielover no long course 50 m.

See me @ the 2012 Olympics.

  • @branodi haha you're funny. im guessing you couldnt go that in 25 yards.

  • @mikethetallguy

    its not that fast..

  • Everyone ahead of WR proof that the suit is a superior technology and makes a difference.

  • funny how everyone in this swim is faster than the previous W.R

  • New world record.. cesar cielo 20. 91

  • bousquet's a pussy.

  • you're a pussy

  • @ybya923 as if bousquet is a fucken pussy.

just cause you like big massive cock up your tiny ass crack.

  • he's such a bitch.

  • Absolute Beast!

  • Every one of them broke the world record. Amazing!!

  • only because of that stupid costume. its gonna get banned soon. i hv LZR but unfortunately that is getting banned too. amazing record

  • Hey, fred's suit looked normal to me. Or was it polyurethane too?

  • sucks you spent like 300 dollars on a suit that you can't wear anymore...

  • haha why do you even buy one

  • It's not just the suit now a days...its also the new energy vitamins and medicine that these guys take.

  • Although I agree with you, but we should also look at the advantages back in the day, when performance enhancing drugs were not screened effectively, today they are. I think it boils down to the records that past sets and how we try to break them and step forward.

    Peace.

  • there may be sth wrong with the WR line.. it's like 2 seconds late, when it should have been like half a sec..

  • wow i love this race.

  • they were all under 21.26 hmmm....... thats wierd because bernard went 21.23 and him and bousquet were almost even.

  • Oh yeah... Bousquet is good, but only break WR into unimportant competitions....

Phelps cant defeat sprinters, his place is 200 and 400m...

And yes, super-suits are making articifial results... I wanna see Cielo and Bernard swimming like Popov, trunks only... I doubt they can beat Popov times.

  • @JusticeerBR Would be nice. I think it is stupid to have possibly lesser technique dominating the record books. I doubt they would beat his 50m free time.

  • popov is still the greatest over swimming. and pele over football. with or without suits and special shoes.you wanna contradict that? remove suits (as it was) and then compare results

  • AGREE. Don't forget the full head of hair and no shaving/waxing. i def wanna see that!

  • Phelps is the greatest all around swimmer but he still can't beat some people

  • less than 21 seconds??????????? WTF!!! i never saw him! this is awesome for me !!

  • doode ur retarted. He beat the record by 0.3 seconds. The world record line was messed up, they did it wrong. Nobody could possibly get a body length over a world record line in a 50. That shows what u know about swimming, the line was OBV messed up, in a 50m the suit dusnt make THAT much of a difference

  • wow, this video demonstrates perfectly how these swim suits are messing up swimming.

How the HELL in the 50m race is almost EVERY SWIMMER miles ahead of the world record

lol, what a joke. Not so long ago sullivans world record was incredible and yet in this race everyone is a boyd length ahead of it!

I mean over the shortesrt distance in swimming it is jjust not possible that so many people are so fast

  • you can talk about phelps' till your blue in the face but nobody has swam faster than this guy ever, therefore he's the best swimmer ever.

  • Don´t forget that Bousquet went 47.0 in a relay in 2003... He´s not dropped that much (-0.3 in the relay @ the 2008 olympics) and will still rule in 2010 and go waay below Popovs standards ...

  • and if you are a swimmer and dont know who Popov is then just get out of the pool you dont even know any background of your sport.. and you obviously have no interest in it. also fred bousqet is the one man who was expected to break 21. he has been ahead of the sprint game for years. he was the first to break 19 in yards, it kind of makes sense that a few years later he breaks the meters too. these atheletes should be praised not reprimanded for their hard work and accomplishments.stop the drama

  • ok. lets think about it this way guys.. lets look at any other sport and how new times have cause advancements in all other sports just like in swimming. in baseball people are getting that surgery when you switch your wrist and elbow tendant to throw faster, in football they have special gloves to make the ball stick in your hands and newer shoes that are lighter and give you more potential to run faster. nothing going on in swimming is unfair except the suit ban. its bullshit.

  • I blame Bob Bowman. With these new suits which make above water swimming more effective, he coaches phelps in to having long underwaters (in which he also goes down instead of up). Freestyle is also the ONE thing faster than underwater dolphin kick.

    Anyway, that's just my opinion.

  • if its alex popov, isnt he retired? :S im lostXD

  • what suit was bousquet wearing?

    who is popov?

  • All you suit-hater-popov-fans will be surprised that Popov would be beaten w/o suit in 2010 as well... I promise you several times at least under 21.50. If im wrong you have the full right to kick me in the nuts.

  • I meant *distance*, not difference.

  • Well bzach71 and gsmaciel.. both of you are right with the suits, but from my experience (blue 70 especially), those suits help much more in the longer events. Obviously the suits help a lot, no matter what the difference, but bosquet and bernard are both amazing sprinters with or without.

  • The faster you swim, the heaveier you are - the more the suit helps... Ofcourse timewise you gain more at longer distances... But you know, a tenth in a 50m is more than a second on 1500m for example.. And the sprintrecords are the ones that´s been shattered the most.. The suit gives you more advantage as a heavy sprint guy.. It means your wrong. And about 75% of the advantage it gives you is in the start (the point when you travels the fastest in the race). Starts are more crusiual in sprint

  • What do you mean I'm wrong? lol.. I said "from MY experience." My 50 meter went from a 24 mid to a 23.8 using the lzr, but my 200 went from a 1:57 to a 1:52. In my opinion, the 200 drop was more impressive. Obviously people are different.

  • Y cant u think outside the box? If you count away the lazer you probably swam faster in the 200 but SLOWER in the 50m . .. Humans are very similar and do not have as very big differenses from individual to individual as we think

  • meaningless. I wonder whether the real world record (21.64) is truly broken if without the technological doped suits. With the suits, now its more difficult to say whether one's improvement is due to true improvement or cheating as one can claim its the suit rather than drugs. 2010 (with textile and limited suit) would hopefully revive swimming back to its true game. 47s in 1free, 53s in 1back, 59s in1breast and 51s in fly are totally meaningless now.

  • As much as we don't like those suits, there's not turning back now, is there? A bunch of records would have to be invalidated, or if they weren't and the suits got prohibited, it would be hard to beat those records... Don't know what to expect, really. Using the suits will be mandatory for breaking world records from now on.

  • evancares, only two people beat the wr bousquet and bernard. they put up the wrong wr line. that line is for the 100 freestyle.

  • Are you serious?! look at the WR line. like the whole pool beat it. Nice Swim but these suits gotta go.

  • i agree. this suits=bullshit. if popov wear those suits and cap he was had 20.50

  • No. You will se times under 21.64 w/o the suit in 2010. That means your wrong. Nothing implies that Popov was that good. Not his technique, not his training.

There was guys out there as good as Popov. Popov did 21.64 in a time trial. Having no guys beside you cuts a big time margin, like the suit. (Wouldn´t be surprised if it cuts as much drag as a suit)

His best time in a accual race was 21.89.

Biondi and Jager were that good as well (goin in speedos) .

  • if i see without without suit and CAP the i agree

  • They all beat the WR Line by a Body Lengh. My only Question is how can a swimsuit make you swim faster.

  • that was the french ational record, which was set a year aago, when bousquet, levaux, and even bernnard hadn't really come on to the scene yet, so of course it got crushed.

  • only the first 2 swimmers beat the old WR. there was something wrong with the line. look at the description while the old wr was 21.26

  • That's the french record i think.

  • @evancares

belive me, the suits dont make any difference. It is all mental, when u have a suit like that you are mental better prepared(u think like this: i have suit like bousquet, phelps does so i am as good as them, i can do it.). Belive me i am swimmer and i say this from my own experience. If someone is very well prepaired and really wants to beat a record, he can do it. Ambition makes the difference, not the suits.

  • @Farcu09 suits don't make a difference? LOL.

  • @brststroka

yea, they don't make the difference. only mentally. anyway, this is my opinion and i may be wrong. but this is what i had noticed from my own experience.

  • @evancares that WR line wasn't the right one I suppose. Bosquet went under it bij 0,4sec. And the WR line took over 1,5 sec to reach the wall ;)

  • In the video "world record 50 free frederick bousquet", the red line is not the WR line record because it's the french national championship, the line is national record. ;)

  • ok, was he wearing the Jaked 01???

  • yes

  • super suit or not that is still fucking impressive for bousquet and bernard. but what happens if popov got his hands on that suit:

Alaine Bernard + jaked suit = 100m free world record

Fred Bousquet + jaked suit = 50m free world record

    now

Alexander popov in his prime + jaked suit= GOD

  • bullshit with the doping shit. look how massive he is! thats pure muscle

and btw, u think michael and all the other swimmers dont do doping? BS, its eazy to fail a doping test

  • Those new swimsuits are a disgrace.

Anyway, that of Bousquet is one of the very few great records in the last couple of years. Alain Bernard's 46'94 is less impressive, because with a "normal" swimsuit he would go just under 48'.

  • wow im 11 and my time is 32.84

  • thats not good tough

    in Aruba they swim 27

  • fuck aruba

  • how about, FUCK YOU!

i didnt said something about fuck you so fuck u now bitch

oh yeah, can U swim? hahaha

  • ohh hell yes i can swim in your mom's pussy real well beachhhhhhh....1:02, 100m breast ...so get lost dick head!

  • yeah and i swim 55 on 100m back u asshole

  • the "frenchies" are full of muscles ... excuse me but all the sprinters are like that, but if you compare with an eamon sullivan, ok he's a little bit muscled, for alain bernard it's an other case, and he wasn't doping !

  • his dopping test said he was doping

  • HAHAHA what sucks.... his suit is officially ILLEGAL under new FINA suit laws. SUCKS for him.

  • jaked?

  • Yeah the jaked J01. But supposedly there is an unreleased suit by Jaked that is legal.

  • o yeah ive heard of that suit, do you know when it might come out?

  • Most likely not for a while, just because FINA is Phase 1 of suit banning. Phase 2 will most likely set us back to 2007, where all suits that contain material impermeable to water will be banned. Just because it passed the buoyancy test doesn't mean it still cant be banned. Im expecting the LZR Racer to be banned after Rome this summer.

  • the board that does the suit stuff is full of speedo people though, that why the LZR keeps getting through haha

  • yeah, but if they do ban all polyurethane suits theres no way LZRs will be allowed.

  • thats sick, those French freestylers are huge.

  • WTF is that red line suppesed to mean? lol

  • it's supposed to represent the movement of the swimmer who set the previous record (21'26).

  • SO u sayin' that all the swimmers in the heat beat 21'26? And that line was like 3 seconds behind frederick so...

  • yeah, i know :) but it's what shoulda mean :)

  • No fuck no... Bernard went that time...

  • That represent the time they would do without the suit lol

  • haha

  • Meet record? An error?

  • y is the red line so fare back

  • he got so much pull on his last stroke holy fuck

  • СУПЕР!!!

  • lol, they all broke the previous record

  • hay q esperar haber si la fina autoriza el record porque parece que bousquet no tenia un traje autorizado y que el traje lo hacia flotar mas

  • what kind of swimsuit is he competing in?

  • a jaked

  • to loco

  • well i was bored before and after watching tjhis video it gave me some entertaintment and encouraged me to keep watching haha :] nicely done.

  • DUVIDO DUVIDO

  • FINA need to stop the evolving of the tech-suits NOW. So that we can compare to todays times in 10 years...

If we freeze the suit-technology to what it is now, we don´t have to guess what "Bousquet with a XX-suit would do" in 10 years as in the Popov case.....

  • Damn...Bosquet is amazingly fast. This guy got future.

  • bousquet more of 22 seconds 2 years ago. now, with the new suits 20:94 bernard more of 22 seconds 2 years ago. now 21:23. eamon sullivan 22:05 two years ago. now 21:28 .cielo 22:12 two years ago. now 21:30. do you want more examples? open your eyes ,man. everybody works hard. all the swimmers works hard but i don,t believe in miracles...SUDDENLY everybody almost 1 second less in only 50 meters...HA HA HA....it,s not a casuality... NUMBERS DON,T LIE....

  • go to a pool, throw your tech suit in the water, and tell me how fast it swims. good races are made by good SWIMMERS not good SUITS.

seriously if the suits make that much of a difference, then why can't you swim alongside these guys?

i already told you, bousquet, cielo and alot of the other guys you're talking about are just the new generation of sprinters who have successfully made the adjustment from short course to long course.

  • yes the suits help, but you CANNOT discount what these guys have put in to do swims like that

  • French are the best, swimsuits or not!!!! only sulivan and phelps could beat them in 100 and 50m....but it would not happen

  • I personally have more respect for endurance ahtletes like Phelps because it requires a lot more work in the pool to do really well.

  • and actually in the 50 free your already so high in the water that the suits don't even help tremendously definately not .7. i bet ur a hella slow swimmer

  • gusyrocks shut up your an idiot no one likes you

  • There's pictures of this guy's dick on the internet -_- what's up with that!!!!

  • i,m a swimmer and i know what i say. before the new suits bousquet 22 seconds and more. now 20:94. miracle? no !!! just tecnology. and in 100 meters? 2 years ago the winner used to swim in 48:40 in the world champ. in 2007. eamon sullivan was third in that race and now he swim in 47:05 (1,4 seg lower in 100 meters). so you can see you can make 0,7 lower in 50. YES, YOU CAN.
