But the Big Bang was once a small dot that was extremely hot. So so so hot. Eventually, it expanded, creating space with it. Now explain to me where this dot came from and the gases in the dot, and the temperature of the dot.

Everything physical is literally 100% energy, energy can not be created or destroyed. So when the universe expands and is cooled down to an extreme point, gravity will then pull it all back together at an increasing rate heating it up until it finally becomes a super small hot state again and the repeats.

The sum of all the masses actually observed by astronomers is only about 1% of the critical mass that they have calculated (the amount needed for gravity to pull all the matter of the universe back together). By adding the masses of additional matter inferred from the motion of galaxies, it increases to 10 to 30% of the critical mass.

My problem with this whole "Christ died for your sins " nonsense is this: The Bible says that 3 days after he was crucified, Christ rose to heaven to be with God forever. So what was the great sacrifice? I mean, he was dead for 3 days, then he went to heaven. Sounds like a sweet deal to me. I'd take that offer any day. We're always hearing about how "God gave his only begotten son blah, blah...". God got him right back 3 days later. Big deal. That was some great sacrifice there, God ol' buddy.

Actually, I'm sitting in a nice home surrounded by 4 acres of lovely property here in Washington state. All of which was earned through hard work on my part ( and not through prayer). I was a Christian for about 20 years so I have read through the Bible many times ( it gets funnier with each reading, by the way). I have watched a few Christian television shows where people touch people and they are "healed" ( those are hilarious).......
I have witness a child being born ( my son). I have never "repented" of my sins because there is no one to "repent to". However, whenever I have done something wrong to someone or hurt them, I have apologized to them and tried to make amends. But I have never asked forgiveness from a pretend God for my pretend sins against him. That is nonsense. I did accept Christ as my savior about 30 years ago. Nothing much changed in my life and after many years of believing in him...

There were many "Messiahs" and many people who were considered gods and who died for their people, but the difference between Christians and them is this: their religion has died out. Christianity is not a religion but a relationship. The gospel didn't die out...the gospel lives with in us and still lives in us today. Also, you want proof? About 40 authors writing in a span of about 1,600 years wrote about the same God, the same Christ, the same story, and they all coincide with each other, without ever meeting each other or hearing about each other's stories. The chances of the hundreds of prophecies to be fulfilled in one man, at the same time, is very very very very slim (the number was actually calculated but don't know it now.)

Why does science always attempts to refute the truths in the Bible? Maybe because it has been such an impact in the world, and maybe because it is still alive, and maybe because it is Truth. But the Big Bang was once a small dot that was extremely hot. So so so hot. Eventually, it expanded, creating space with it. @Luckyproducer see I told you already, all the energy was condensed into a small space, very hot and very dense, now it expanded and has been cooling ever since. Everything physical is literally 100% energy, energy can not be created or destroyed. So when the universe expands and is cooled down to an extreme point, gravity will then pull it all back together at an increasing rate heating it up until it finally becomes a super small hot state again and the repeats.

The sum of all the masses actually observed by astronomers is only about 1% of the critical mass that they have calculated (the amount needed for gravity to pull all the matter of the universe back together). By adding the masses of additional matter inferred from the motion of galaxies, it increases to 10 to 30% of the critical mass.

My problem with this whole "Christ died for your sins " nonsense is this: The Bible says that 3 days after he was crucified, Christ rose to heaven to be with God forever. So what was the great sacrifice? I mean, he was dead for 3 days, then he went to heaven. Sounds like a sweet deal to me. I'd take that offer any day. We're always hearing about how "God gave his only begotten son blah, blah...". God got him right back 3 days later. Big deal. That was some great sacrifice there, God ol' buddy.

Ok Smith, explain this to me. The Bible was written over a period of 1,600 years by over 40 authors. Explain to me how they all speak of the same Christ, the same prophecies, and how 2,000 of the approximately 2,500 prophecies came true. Explain to me how numerous, various, MANY prophecies were fulfilled by ONE person at ONE given time, prophecies that were written by people who never even met each other. You have given me NO facts. You know as well as I that the Bible is FULL of contradictions and plain nonsense. The Bible allows for slavery, killing disobedient children and stoning homosexuals (among the few ridiculous things to be found there). Furthermore, if Christ really did die for our "sins" (which is laughable) and "paid the price" for us, it is immoral for us top accept this "gift". No one can pay for your faults or sins. And just so you know, that whole slavery, killing thing is um in the OLD Testament, yeah, for the Jews. I am not Jewish. Paul writes in the NEW Testament that we are no longer under the law but under grace! And the Bible doesn't talk about, "You should have slaves" it says that slaves should love no matter what, and their owners should treat them with respect and give them what they deserve for their work. And um, YES, I have given you facts. They are archeological facts, there are scientific facts as well. Crazy how the Bible talks abouts the earth being suspended in space and round, and how the stars are uncountable, and how there are mountains under the ocean, waaaay before us humans discovered it. And to be honest, the Bible IS a historical document. You believe history books from school but now the Bible? Which is VERY accurate considering they found the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 and they were the ORIGINAL scrolls and guess what, they matched. How can many people write the same story over 1600 YEARS and all have the same story. Please, please, please explain that.
And please, prove to me George Washington existed without using historical documents or artifacts. Please do.

First of all it wasn't a whale it was a fish. Sure shows how much you read the Bible. Also yes, they have studied about the ark and if you know the size of the ark, it was HUGE. And also, the Bible never said full grown animals...all they needed was two of each animal, they could have been still small. And an earthly flood IS possible and IS proven to be true. Actually, I'm sitting in a nice home surrounded by 4 acres of lovely property here in Washington state. All of which was earned through hard work on my part ( and not through prayer). I was a Christian for about 20 years so I have read through the Bible many times ( it gets funnier with each reading, by the way). I have watched a few Christian television shows where people touch people and they are "healed" ( those are hilarious).......

I have witness a child being born ( my son). I have never "repented" of my sins because there is no one to "repent to". However, whenever I have done something wrong to someone or hurt them, I have apologized to them and tried to make amends. But I have never asked forgiveness from a pretend God for my pretend sins against him. That is nonsense. I did accept Christ as my savior about 30 years ago. But your analogy fails completely. The REAL sacrifice of our veterans gave us real freedom in a great country. The fictional sacrifice of a fictional God gives us...nothing. I feel really bad because I know that I am living a life that means something. This life is simply a preparation for the next....we were created to live eternally man. If you don't believe that, then what is the point of trying to make money, win success, and all that? To simply do it and die? I'm sorry, but God loves me a lot more than for just creating us to live and die. Sin separated us from Him, so He sent the perfect sacrifice....He sent HIMSELF in a human form, to give himself for us.

You said Christ's death brought nothing to us? Sure, we have freedom in our country...wooopdie doo....years from now, everything will pass. But God's freedom doesn't take place now buddy, it takes place eternally. Well actually, let me correct myself...those who live for God are free from sin....free from its bondage...like the Bible says, free from a life that is meaningless. I hope you see that. I hope you can see that your life isn't truly valuable without a meaning. Sure, you can make a difference and sure you can be a great person without God and live a great life without Him, but that's not what motivates me to worship God and to live for Him. The reason why I worship God and live for Him is because HE created me...it's because HE is God.....it's because WITHOUT Him I am NOTHING. He controls everything that goes...nothing happens without Him knowing.
