  • U r 2 osm guys i realy like it......whr r u from.?

  • wish i could learn and play as well

  • daaaaamnnn! nice work gents! I've been playing tabla for about 4 years now. I've been working on dhere dhere a lot lately trying to really get it down. watching you two play is very inspiring! I want to go home and practice right now

    thanks

  • how many days does it take to learn dhere-dhere?

and how much practice do you need to learn it?

  • Dhere Dhere is perhaps one of the toughest bols to master and does take a relatively longer time and also depends on how quickly you become proficient with Dha- Tire Kite Tike. The more you focus your practice the quicker you progress. Start with Kite Gire Tire Tire. Ustad H

  • Need just enough powder and it depends on how much your hands sweat..varies person to person..have not heard of over-dryness problems. Too much powder begins t block the resonance, not enough and the siahi (ink, gab) begins to melt. H

  • OH $#!+

    :-)

  • cool

can you pass me the mantra ?

  • The bols are:

Dha- Tire Kite Gire Tire Tire Gire Tige Dha- Tire Gire Tige Dha- Tire Gire Tige

Ta- Tire Kite Gire Tire Tire Gire Tige Dha- Tire Gire Tige Dha- Tire Gire Tige

    Their Ustad H

    Your "Tayyari" is good.

  • guys.. simply awesome

  • Hot. Damn.

    Wonderful D:

  • Most often in duet performances, the Tabla pitch is kept different

  • Both of you guys are great tabla players. Only one suggestion and that is that your tablas should be the same pitch when playing together.

  • the two tablas strike a cool harmony when played in unison

  • u guys look cool

  • r u the one in the video or not

  • Not in this one, this is my son Gurdain and student Harkiret. You'll find me on the Darbar duet on youtube

  • Thanks ustad

  • is this reela from punjab gharana

  • Ustad ji,

where is the dhere tere bols? or gire tire notation is used instead of that?

  • Hi

There are no Dhire used in this composition. Gire is played gi (ge) on bayan and re is played on dayan with right hand but left side of palm using the soft section between thumb and index finger. Tire is dhire without bayan. Call me on 0044 7714 065078 for clarification.
