Wicca was invented in the 19th century by rich weirdos. There is zero evidence that Wicca is an ancient religion. Paganism is a different story though as there is actual historical evidence proving its antiquity . Wicca=fat chicks playing with candles.
i live near vernon so I go to "The threads that bind us" they have awesome elixers, oils, robes, inscence, crystals, pretty much everything wicca. its a wicca shop so its rlly awesome. it even has its own little library.
i got a medium sized sliver painted cauldron it has that paint for to keep rust away my dad used that for his grill. from a 2nd hand store, 50 cents, I hand made most of my wands cept one I got that was made of pewter.
Aelwyn, do you have any tips on cleaning a silver chalice, I used it in a small ritual that I did a few years back, left it on my alter outside and now it's got all this gooky stuff inside. It's such a beautiful chalice and I don't want to be disrespectful of how I clean it, i mean i don't want to throw it into the sink ad wash it with dish soap if that is just going to ruin any magikal energy...thanks Blessed be )O( Katie
Washing with dish soap is fine. You actually might want to put warm water in the chalice along with a denture tablet (yep, the ones used to put in a denture cup with false teeth). This gently loosens gook and grime. Let it soak overnight. Then wash the next day with soap and water and a plastic scrubby (don't use metal...too abrasive). Then, let drip dry. Hope that helps, and sorry for the late response!
yeah i want natural soap and most of the ladies in my life too. pls post a link for us. is your site up yet? do you have a yahoo group for your new biz? sorry, i help folks get their businesses started. and i want all natural stuff in my life. wow you are just aweomse. ty ty
We don't have a site yet. As I said, we're still in the baby-steps stages. :) We're still working on logo concepts and packaging. :)
As soon as a site is up, I'll be sure to let you guys know. Currently we have soap made (peppermint/lavender, oatmeal/chamomile, rose, and some others I can't remember right off the top of my head), and I have to pick up some more stuff for bath bombs since they were all given away for Yule gifts...LOL.
