I find it a lot easier to also tune my A string down an additional step (1 and 1/2 steps total), so you can have the other bass note as an open string instead of having to fret something else. Did that make any sense?
The second I heard this song on Grand National I immediately wanted to play it. Its such a good song and very fun to play, it forces you into a rhythm. Nice work!
"Nowhere man" is also a fun one to play, and it's done in the same tuning pretty much. Although I can't seem to play it perfectly and I dont know why! I think it might be the tabs I got are slightly off.
Well done, Nice job man you nailed it, and a clear vid too, so easy for me to see how you played it. And thanks for the tuning explination as well. This song melts me, it definately my fav off the new album. Keep rocking......
sweet guitar

Sounds pretty close. Way easier in Open G tuning though (bottom C). Plus it's the way John Butler actually plays it.

Ah, cool. Yeah playing it in standard tuning makes for some awkward stretches.

Yeah it was my favorite song right away. Some songs on that album take a few listens to get into, but not this one!
