My only problem with the anime is that it needed to be at least 52 episodes; it's too damned short. Maybe the ladies at CLAMP will make more??

...Sigh. Why do the subs Funimation use suck? Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I just know more than a little bit of Japanese, and I've seen this anime fansubbed before besides. Much more accurate, and they even added a segment to the end of the episode explaining some of the Japanese quirks to baka gaijin. I just wish that official subbers would get their act together as much as fansubbers have. Seriously, one is paid and one is not. Who should be better?

I remember watching one version where Watanuki was going on one of his rants and there was so much text on top explaining what he was talking about I had to pause and read for about 5 minutes before moving on and in the end it was just a rant.

I read/watch a lot of things translated from other languages, and the most important thing to me and to all translators I consider good is accuracy to the original work. The point of translation is to help people who don't know the language understand what's being said, not to dumb it down and give a translation that's simple and makes sense even if its not entirely correct, because you assume the audience won't know the difference.

@Sakura62475 Lol, you a sakura fan? Anyway, its because the manga for the two series were written and published at the same time by the same people. Both fantastic series. However, in this anime there isn't much mention of Tsubasa so unless you've seen it its hard to tell. I like this anime better, though. If you like both, I would really recommend you read the manga of both. Absolutely fantastic, and the stories have a lot more to do with each other.
