I am hearing the Hungarian Dance (not a Leroy Anderson piece) and comments about it below the message you are reading. Why not identify that better? Otherwise I have no way of knowing that it's included here. Thanks.
what the hell where's there tuba the baritone saxifone none of the good bass in stament can be heard wtf i'm play this on april and this is good don't get me wrong but no bass???
i RECREATED THE LATE SHOW MOVIE OPENING 1951-1975 ON SOME OF THE CBS OWNED STATIONS
WCBS-TV NY....GO TO MY YOUTUBE PAGE AND CHECK IT OUT...WHEN WILLIAM PALEY MEDIA CENTER SAW IT THEY ASKED ME TO DONATE IT TO THE MUSEUM AND I DID PLEASE LEAVE A RATING/COMMENT
if you mean the piece itself- I'd say the intended mood is whimsical. If you mean how it's played - I'd call it symphonic in the "light classic" manner i.e. "Pops"
Nice rendition! Last summer I had the pleasure of hearing the Harvard Pops play this at the Hatch Shell on the Boston Esplanade . Mrs. Leroy Anderson was in attendance and she received a standing ovation. very moving!
wow good job!
