  • actually it is a travel because he lifted his left foot before he dribbled the ball, in europe they call these much more often, thats 1 reason i like the nba better, they dont call the little detail stuff

  • no travel, only journey

  • It is a travel but this happens so quickly the naked eye would see the ball bounce almost at the same time or before so it was uncalled

  • yes it s travel in europe

  • no travel.

  • His pivot foot is his right foot, he lifted his left before he bounced the ball, its travel. In the nba that will never be called though. By FIBA and the real rules its travel, by the Nba rules its entertainment.

  • even if, it's allen iverson, he don't need to dribble if he don't wanna :D

  • travel. the left foot. he made a very small step

  • AI was so quick he had time to shoot and dress up as a lakers player and make it look like he is playing defense

  • tyronn lue uploaded the vid :)

  • its not a travel the nba allows u to step once before you have to dribble the ball

  • @swaggerwiththat ?????????NO IT DOESNT....

  • Comment removed

  • He did travel good eye! 0:00 0:09 His left foot was his pivot and he moved it before he dribbled the rock! A no call leads to one of the BEST crossovers in NBA history lol

  • no travel

  • that was a travel at 0:03. left his pivot foot.

  • OK... maybe he did travel, but something this classic just can't be wrong.

  • thats only a travel for Lebron

  • /watch?v=_b18s26Usrg

Jordan says its a travel. =)

  • 350 people were "traveled on"

  • Tyronn Lue made 348 accounts!!!

  • i see AI i didn't see travel

  • no travel, stupid vid

  • u even wrote the rule everybody cansee it

  • A lot of people here who don't know much about basketball it seems. Yes, it's a travel. Plain and simple. Is it something that's routinely done in the NBA? Yes, but just because it's not called doesn't mean it's not a travel.

  • actually, something we have to discuss is that... the right pivot foot.. has been move from right to left for a little bit at 0:2

  • Your an idiot.

  • @isponder where the travel dumbass I c u don't kno anything bout basketball

  • He aint travel, hes just that good!!!!

  • Nba no travelling, but Europe its travel!!!!

  • @MegaBlackShadow11 the rules are the same asshole...its not travel...

  • @lagosdre i live in Europe asshole.... its travel, his pivot foot was left and he movde it before he dribbled...in EUROPE = TRAVEL

  • @MegaBlackShadow11 Sup Lue. :)

  • wtf?! traveling?

yo a.i. is travelling round turkey... oh i miss maboy A.I. / return to NBA nigga!!

  • if you don't know anything about basketball please don't post vid with dumb titles

  • where is the travel ???

  • iverson=underrated 5'11" ninja killercrossover assassin that you don't want to see on a court when the sun goes down.

  • He is one of the best handlers in NBA but he did just travel very slightly as he took his right foot back to start the jumping motion, he moved his left(pivot) foot forward slightly. Keep clicking on the 0:09 and you'll see. It's very slight, and the refs won't catch it unless they are staring at his feet.

  • yup no travel srry man ??

  • ai owned the shit out of tyronn lue countless times throughout their careers

  • Where is the travel?

  • ITS A TRAVEL!!! As soon as someone lifts up their pivot foot off the floor even if it is in the act of dribbling, it is always a travel!!

  • @jdoggoliscious If that's true, then you wouldn't even be able to do a jump shot after you pivot. Look it up. Everyone does it.

  • @theeggo1 my bad haha let me restate it then

"As soon as someone lifts up their pivot foot off the floor in the act of dribbling, it is always a travel. The ball must touch the ground before the players pivot foot is lifted off the ground. But if the lift their pivot foot off the floor for a shot attempt, then it is not a travel".

  • @jdoggoliscious You can still do that as long as the foot doesn't touch the floor again before the dribble. If you look it up, we'll see.

  • @theeggo1 wrong

    NBA travelling rules updated 2009-10

"In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the player’s hand before the pivot foot is raised off the floor"

absolutely nothing to do with the pivot foot being allowed to be lifted before the dribble " as long as the foot doesn't touch the floor again before the dribble"

there ya go. looked it up for ya, and now you know

  • @jdoggoliscious no it's not.... your in the act of dribbling, your allowed to take that first step but you have to release the ball before you lift your foot

  • lebron traveled

  • damn i got 46 thumbs ups and all i did was mention MJ lol motherfuckers still hittin me up 9 months later like "that was in fact a TRAVEL" lmao

  • he travelled, way too many steps after, when he owned lue

  • lebron traveled

  • read the nba rules, it says the ball has to be off the players hands before their pivot foot touches the floor. so they can lift thier foot but they gotta bounce the ball before their pivot foot touches the floor.

  • Clear travel here. Lifted his pivot (left) foot before releasing the ball. Traveling. But not often called of course, and is mostly allowed because it's hard to tell at game speed.

  • One of the greatest play and you called it a travel? Are you retarded???

  • Definitely no travel there

  • @stretch90 der is actually. he did an illegal shuffle. most players get away with it not that dey do it on purpose but is just a reaction to do it. if u look closely he picked up his pivot foot before he dribbled the ball. and dat is wats considerd "illegal shuffle"

  • @stretch90 Picked up his piviot foot.

  • @WitnessLeBronJames1

They allow that as long as you put the ball on the floor before your next step.

  • r u blind?

  • What a shitty VIDEO....hey uploader yeah you @isponder AI did not travel go and learn the rules before posting something so stupid you stupid bunny....chop chop chop wa wa wa baby

  • @onewizzard wow.why are you so offended by a "stupid bunny"

and wtf is a stupid bunny anyway?

people like you amuse me :)

  • ai is just too fast too be called travelling.

  • damn, iverson looks like he has chicken legs in this vid.

  • Simply, ARE YOU DUMB?

  • travel because he moved both of his feet when he recieved the ball

  • @brzopotezni HE DIDN'T MOVE BOTH FEET IDIOT.... THE LEFT FOOT IS OBVIOUSLY HIS PIVOT he just roasted those lakers thats all

  • @AllWorldStatSSK

look...pay attention to his pivot foot before he starts to dribble. Im talking about the process of him turning his body towards the basket. Even a slight movement of your pivot foot should be called a travel if you are going strictly by the books. But I understand why NBA referees don't call that normally

  • also people think of it like this, its almost similar to an up and under move

  • do that shit in high school and you/re guarenteed a travelnig call.

  • Comment removed

  • it's the NBA... they've never heard of a travel

  • nowhere even close to being a travel, this is what you call a step-back people, taught all around and i teach it to the people i coach, real good move if learned correctly and efficiently

  • @ungermax you're not allowed to pick up your pivot before you dribble so it's technically a travel. however, this almost never gets called in the nba and its hard to tell alot of times because guys are so quick.

  • @BeatsBearsBattlestar You aren't allow to pick up your pivot foot and have it return to the ground without releasing the ball

  • @buddaman200522 official rules off nba.com: "f. In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the player's hand before the pivot foot is raised off the floor."

  • Comment removed

  • @BeatsBearsBattlestar i coach high school basketball and AAU basketball and i teach this and i did this in highschool and so did my team mates, not a travel at, your going off of a rule book and goes to show you didnt play the game at a high level(i played up til highschool but at the elite highschool level consisted of MANY D1/D2 prospects and then went straight into coaching right after graduating and Class of 2010)

  • @BeatsBearsBattlestar also check this vid out, the ball must be out of his hand before his pivot(i.e left foot) returns to the floor

    watch?v=EGiBXYJiTF8&feature=related

  • kroki wy głupie murzyńce

  • ya, ur stupid

  • Tyronn Lue is the one who travelled...right to the floor

  • 100% travling he moves left leg up befor the ball had left his hands witch gives you nothing else than a travel, and that is basketball.. if you dont know that you dont know basketbal!!

  • Where's the travelling violation?? You should rename the title to "I don't know what travelling violation means"

  • @dyeyzeee the travel is when he lifts his pivot foot up before he starts dribbling. you're only allowed to shoot or pass if you lift your pivot foot off the ground (obviously before it comes back down), according to NBA rules.

  • AI is the best and he DIDN'T travel.

  • @nikke1024 well he sucked in Detroit!

  • no travel you fag

  • I saw the left foot left up in 0:03 miss me with that 0:09

  • Double-dribble

  • You don't have to release the ball before you pick up your pivot foot. How would you shoot a jump shot if you had to release the ball before your foot is off the ground.

  • no travel

  • i dont see it

  • @uallsuck23 he shuffles his feet right at the start how did you not see it? lol

  • The refs didn't call because they want to see the magic of AI

  • who cares... sixers got crushed 4 straight after the shithead made this shot

  • @YouGotJEWD You sound like a Jew you fucking faggot!

  • that aint no travel learn how to play ball dikheads

  • @muniee00 learn how to talk.... and spell, it is a travel... he shuffles both feet after he catches the ball...

  • @GrrrANTcore he caaught the ball then established his pivot foot

  • @ridore9 after he caught the ball, both of his feet move without dribbling. it is a travel you cant shuffle your feet.

  • he dident even travel dumb fuck

  • you guys are dumb thats definently not a travel

  • TRAVEL

  • travel

  • Chris Webber was notorious for shuffling his feet around simply standing there looking for the interior pass

  • there definitely wasnt a travel, it wasnt even close

  • ANYONE WHO THINKS THIS IS A TRAVEL SHOULD JUST QUIT PLAYING BASKETBALL

  • @8MunchenBayern8

    then you should learn basketball.

  • @8MunchenBayern8 it is a travel, the ball should touch the floor first before lifting the pivot.

  • not even a travel...

  • let's watch some of jordan's greatest plays (uncalled travels) while we're at it

  • he traveled before :09 haha not after. everything before that is a travel.

  • not a travel fool but he did travel when he first left wit the ball ciz u suppose to dribble befour leaving

  • no travel. ai lifted his pivot foot in the act of dribbling. jordan was doing that in the 80's...

  • @TheNegrodamus89 stupid.. the ball has to touch the floor before he lifts his foot.

  • @kamotecue2008 "the ball has to touch the floor..." my balls will touch your forehead b4 that is called a travel asshole

  • @kamotecue2008 Only in Euro league rules. In the NBA, you can be in the act of dribbling, which he obviously was, to move your foot.

  • @TheNegrodamus89 And it was a travel back then too. The rule states that you have to release the ball before you pick up your pivot, which he clearly doesn't do. Tough call to make, pretty hard to see, but when you can see the replay and pause it, it's pretty clearly a travel. Still a great play tho

  • @TheNegrodamus89 How dumb are you? He only put the title as "Iverson Traveling" to get views. Even he knows it wasn't a travel.

  • @TheNegrodamus89 WTF!! That was the 80s man... And that WAS in fact a travel, you cant pick your pivot foot up before the dribble, PERIOD.. its just those dumb-ass refs who don't want to have to constantly make the call every time and delay action b/c it happens A LOT..

  • @hemanwomanhaters1 /watch?v=EGiBXYJiTF8&feature=related 0:11 to 0:19 "If the player with the ball in his possession raises his pivot foot, he must........before his foot returns to the floor."

  • @JerryWuYT ya you must shoot or pass NOT dribble..

  • @hemanwomanhaters1 Where do the rules state that "travel, you cant pick your pivot foot up before the dribble, PERIOD." The way I was taught, it would be a travel but things like these happen too often in the nba, I assume if they are in the act if dribbling then it's alright.

  • @JerryWuYT oh noooo its not buddy you have to pass of shoot you cant continue in motion

  • @hemanwomanhaters1 Well it happens a lot in the nba.

  • @TheNegrodamus89 Jordan says himself in the training videos that it's a travel. So yeah, Jordan travelled, Iverson did even more.

  • too bad this was nine fucking years ago

  • ....i paused at 0:09 and he is dribbling. not a travel. he did a stepback move.

  • Cum Check Out Our New Videos, Please Subscribe If You Like!! It really means alot, thanx for all of the support over the last 4 days!!

  • In slow motion every moves looks like it's longer than it really is...

Plus, since forever, if you pull your pivot foot up off the floor just a little bit for a fraction of a second, it's not a travel. For it to be a travel, it has to be bigger than that! It has to be really about moving the pivot foot, displacing it, you see? It's like when you go really fast and you try to stop, but you slide a little bit, thus your pivot foot moves just a little, that's not a travel.

  • everythings travel in slomo

  • @kentotzz I don't know if you were joking, but you're so right.

  • thats just called "NBA" they do it all the time

  • This aint a travel, u need to watch NBA a lil bit more man.

  • dudes he was going off the dribble

that first step was the pivot root but he dribbled it in the same motion so its not a travel

its only when u see the play in slo mo

  • not a travel

  • forget the traveling call, the video ended before the best part, when AI steps right over lue.

  • Lmao NOBODY CALLS THIS!

  • travel..MJ says so..go look at his videos where he teaches fundamentals and look at triple threat driving to the basket he clearly says it,..cant argue with him

  • iverson took his step then dribbled and took too steps bouced it

back and shot if u no anything about b -ball that wasnt a travel

u guys are retarded two steps isnt a travel if u no anything about footwork

    thats what it is

  • @KR7123 if you actually read what people said, the travel is before he started his dribble...

  • this is not really a travel his foot jus shuffled just a tiny bit but i would let that go

  • "In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the player’s hand before the pivot foot is raised off the floor"

    Travel

  • thats not a travel cause traveling is when you move both feet without dribbling and you are can move one foot and then start to dribble

  • @CrazySmoky21 Yes but you have to start your dribble before you pick up your pivot foot, if you dont its a travel

  • its not, ever heard of the one-and-the-long-one? its never a travel, thats what he did

  • this is travelling violation. in nba the refs don't call that.

  • It's a travel if you pick up your pivot before you release the ball for a dribble. But it's legal to pick up your pivot foot for a shot or pass.

  • This is a classic play. Even if Nobody remembers iverson

  • He did travel, and it's a tough call for the referees. They usually don't call this in the NBA, it's a very technical call.

This is a lot better compared to lebron travelling.

  • travel.. Ive been told multiple times that was a travel and had to take it out of my game. You cant pick your pivot foot up b4 you release the ball. Its that simple.

  • this isnt a travel any more cuz the nba allows you to have two steps now

  • You're missing the point. He picked up his pivot foot before releasing the ball. NBA or college, regardless, that's a travel.

  • yeah this is a travel

  • @BarbriWarrior how in the beginning they were all on his pivot foot and then all he did was do a crossover leading to a hopstep

  • i think that in Nba u can make one step before the dribble ..u cant do that at European basketball

  • that aint a travel u cant tell wut a travel is if u think any of dat was

  • idc if he traveled or not he did him.

  • i would not have called that... he lifted his pivot foot for everyone who doesn't know what a travel is

  • not a travel

this is AI at his best

  • damn, that move was epic, too bad he traveled.

  • Am I the only one who noticed that they both had the same hair?

  • The move is too good for the refs to call a travel.

  • thats not travel

  • that's not Traveling dumbfuck

  • @GOtit43 u dnt no wat a fucking travel is u idiot, this was clearly a travel, so shut the fuck up

  • Yeah this pretty stupid. No ref ever calls that, but it is a travel. No one else has ever called it though.

  • now a ref doesnt study the feet THAT carefully

cmon its happening 2x faster than this; if u were in the refs shoes

u wouldnt call a travel unless by looking back at the replay right?

cuz it was so small to be examined in real-life, real-time

  • the one who posted des clip such a dickhead. fkin idiot.

    i want my 0:14 bk

  • its a travel right at the beginning of the clip hes moving both his feet and not dribbing.

  • the nba has different rules concerning the pivot foot before you dribble.

There you are allowed to release it and then start to dribble. That's why Team Usa is called that often for travelling in the olympics or other FIBA tournaments

  • this if anything is the definition of shitting on someone..hahah that was nasty. good foot work. good use of the pivot foot. nice fag. lol not a travel.
