  • Check out my page.. theres a truck just like this 1 vs. A silverado

  • i got a quad cab daytona ... k&n intake . whats a good programmer ?

  • how do you get both wheels to spin with a open diff??

  • Apply the brake just enough to keep it from moving and give it gas really slow. If it spun the right rear I let off and held the brake down more. It took 5 tries to get it to spin both. The reason being the right rear got hot and sticky enough to not immediately spin so the left would spin first followed by the right about 1/2 second later.

  • wats up man love ur truck if u cant tell from my name haha check out my burnout vid i hate this open dif crap i never heard of that auburn lsd how much is it thanks

  • It's about $450-$500 depending where you get it from.

  • thanks thats not bad so wat all u got done to urs?

  • This was stock at the time with, believe it or not, an open rear diff. I have an AEM Brute Force cold air intake with throttle body spacer, Corsa Sport catback exhaust with high flow Y-pipe, Superchips Cortex programmer, APS Precision 2550 RPM stall converter, Auburn Gear High Performance Series limited slip, Recon LED tail lights, third brake light, and interior lights now. I also have a Ground Force 2/4" drop kit I just haven't had time to put it on yet.

  • very nice truck... quick question though...

how do you find the auburn lsd for day to day driving? i'm looking at installing one and was wondering how you liked it...

  • In case you were wondering which limited slip I bought, it was the high performance series part # 542070. Make sure to buy new side bearings. My truck originally was an open rear end. I then bought a Richmond Gear Powertrax locker. Don't buy one, these are a huge piece of shit. It doesn't work until the gear oil is warm, the springs are too weak, and it either stays unlocked or locked all the time. It also bangs very loud when it engages after a turn or whenever it decides to lock.

  • The auburn gear high performance series limited slip is great. It works well for day to day driving. It is quiet like a factory limited slip, except it doesn't have the clutch pack clips that are prone to failing like the OEM chrysler diffs. You don't notice it's there until you hammer on it in a corner and the truck goes sideways.

  • just installed the auburn HP series lsd.

daily driving is a breeze, and for the most part i don't even notice that its there...that is until one of two things happen. 1) i go around a sharp corner rather quickly, and where i would have screeched the tires, there is nothing but a small chirp. and 2) i feel like merging "quickly" from a dead stop. it is able to handle my set up quite well, and i hope to get out and make some videos showcasing the new addition. thanks for your help ! :)

  • No problem man. If you have any other questions let me know. If it is about any other mods that I have done to my truck, or questions reguarding yours I will help if I can. I also work at a Dodge dealership, so if your having problems with factory parts I'll try and help you out.

  • I got a 2004 2 door 6 speed hurst.

  • Yeah bro i wasn't dissin your truck thats an awesome truck my dads buddy had a rumble bee basicly same as the Daytona sweet rig.

I don't have a vid of me doin a burnout or anything i was just talking about a pic of my truck hha prove that i actually have one haha. I'll take one if ya want... ??

  • I was mostly just curious if you had a 4 door automatic SRT or a 2 door manual.

  • Nothing against the truck bro. Its a good lookin truck but the burnout was weak. my " so called" srt-10 truck can do 10 times that in 3rd gear. If you don't beleive me want a pic of it ? let me know

  • I do appreciate you not dissing my ride, but why even compare vehicles. An SRT-10 has 500hp 525tq, mine is 345hp 375tq. This video was just a baseline vid of what a stock hemi pickup will do in 1st gear with 3.92 gears. I would love to see a vid of your SRT-10 in action. By the way this was shot 3 years ago. The bolt-ons I've added make my truck have no problems doing second gear burnouts. Hopefully I'll get some new vids up in the next couple weeks.

  • That should be embarrising my SRT-10 would kill you

  • Funny...this so called SRT-10 is nowhere to be seen on your account.

  • nice truck, is it an auto or 5speed?

  • It's a 545RFE 5 Speed automatic. There is no option for a manual on a 5.7 hemi 1500 pickup. There is with a 4.7 on a 1500. The only way to get a manual 5.7 hemi is with a 2500 or 3500 chassis.
