i got this phone and the trackball sucks so badly it locks up very fast and makes it hard to scroll on the phone since its free now its a ok buy but expect the trackball to give you many issues

I have this phone and it;s previous model and they rock!!,,,,,,I'm not shiting you there is a whole slew of cool shit you can do with this phone. My only complaint is it that it has the memory maxed at 16Mb (i found a way around it :-) ) besides that this litle guy rocks out with it cock out

I tried this phone at the tmobile store and wasn't impressed. The main problem I found was that the keyboard and the track ball seemed flimsy and cheap.

if u tried it at a t-mobile store they are all broken or have something wrong with them . they are displays. wen i went to the t-mobile store i was looking at the sidekick lx and wen i flipped it the screen flew off :D and i just walked away

That's due to continuous use by their customers though, and yes I'm sure they use a phones that have minor defects as displays but something like the keyboard and trackball wouldn't be changed for a display. The phone I used wasn't broken, I just thought the quality in the materials used for the phone's parts could have been better. I mean it kind of feels like a step down from the original Dash, which I thought felt durable and really comfortable to use. The 3g was the complete opposite of that
