I believe from this that the Antichrist is supposed to come out of Europe (Daniel speaks of a revived Roman Empire that Jeffrey attributes to a collapsed European Union) and the current President of the European Commission is one Jose Manuel Barroso. This is my best guess as to who the Antichrist will be.

There are a couple videos I have watched called "Signs of Jesus' Return" by user "gevte" that shows the view of the prophecy by Canadian evangelist Grant Jeffrey. I believe from this that the Antichrist is supposed to come out of Europe (Daniel speaks of a revived Roman Empire that Jeffrey attributes to a collapsed European Union) and the current President of the European Commission is one Jose Manuel Barroso. This is my best guess as to who the Antichrist will be.

If the antichrist is alive today, he is pretty old.... I say this because in 1 John 2:18, we see John say that it was the LAST HOUR in his days and at that time MANY antichrists had already come.
So IF the last "hour" has lasted nearly 2,000 years, then the antichrist is pretty dang old or as is my opinion, the "time of the end" had to do with the end of the Old Covenant which ended when the temple was destroyed in ad70, just as Jesus had predicted in Matthew 24.

Have you not figured out that the Hebrew scriptures were written by a political/religious faction who plagerized stories such as the flood myth from cultures millenia before them ? Could it be that Babylon/Sumar has been demonised due to the fact of the previously stated question?
