  • This is quite interesting, and also useful. =) I usually draw in anime style (not that it matters much; drawing's just a hobby, really), but I've been trying to give it my own sort of...twist on it, I suppose. (Of course, I need to figure out how to draw decent poses and hands/feet first...)

  • Well there goes my plan of submitting anime sketches of people with piccolo antennae to Pixar...

  • @Chainsawdentist LOL! God, I wonder where she is now...

  • Loved it! All great tips, Anna!

  • @CatarsiSol I'm glad you liked it! Thanks!

  • I agree with tip 1 COMPLETELY. I myself LOVE the anime style and always will, but I also love it when people have their own style or give anime a nice twist. If everything looked the same... things would get very boring.

All of these can also be used on writing, if you change the wording a bit, and are very nice tips to hear. 83

  • @writersbane Thank you! #1 is really just me repeating what I was told by industry professionals. Guys who worked at Pixar, and other large companies, for 5+ years. When they tell you to avoid something, you don't take them lightly. lol

Writing, huh? I've never been much of an author myself, but I'm glad you can take some of that for your stuff!
