  • This film might be good, but I don't want to see the adaptation of one of my favorite books: READ IT!

  • When I was a kid playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3, whenever you found a treasure chest it played a song clip. When I saw this trailer I was surprised to hear the very same clip, note for note starting at 1:23. I still haven't seen this movie, but I guess I should because it sounds like a treasure chest.

  • I got to meet the author, John Irving, today. He told us the story about how, when they were casting the movie, everyone kept telling him Maguire was perfect for Homer Wells, but Irving wanted to meet him in his home in Vermont. They flew him to Vermont, where he rented a car with a leaky roof. He then proceeded to drive to Manchester, New Hampshire, and then back to Manchester, Vermont. Long story short, Irving knew that Maguire was perfect when he was soaking wet and shivering on his doorstep.

  • Heheh, the time before everyone saw him as Spiderman

  • Omg! heroes 3 music at 1:22.

  • @CU2UK Oh thank you i thought i had lost my mind and that i was the only one that heard it :D

  • A wonderful movie, though the book is so much better. No doubt due to time constraints, there were a few characters and sub-plots removed. Particularly, I so wish Melanie's character was included in the movie...

  • Tobey maguire one of the absolute brialliant actor. He put life in the character he played. At d end, I luved d way he said, "Goodnight, prince of men, and princess of no england"

  • I watched a film and some time later I read the book... Both the book and a film - one of the best works of art whom I ever saw! Talented Lasse Hallstrom, remarkable John Irving and great Michael Caine!
