I know this is old, but don't think that Ball is a Mojave, its colors are more like a normals. Looks more like a normal that is glowing. They glow when they near ovulation.
I was wondering if you could go into more detail on how you heat and humidify all you enclosures and does it stay constant and what equipment you use.
@TheChinchillaTV maybe cuz theyre not used to snake keeping if you applied this (which is perfectly fine care) to something like kittens or dogs is would be cruel but with snakes its not.
I can tell you love your reptiles - its obvious because you know them well, and call them by name, know what phase of their hatching, shedding, so - best of luck with all of them and Im glad its you and not me. lol...(Im not a snake person but love nature and people that love and handle their pets well....and or breeding.

very cool collection.....dont listen to these people commenting and not knowing shit about what u r doing..... real breeders keep there snakes in tubs.......... if u dont like it, get a dog or cat or some other furry lame creature for a pet.
@1997xboxgamer I can see how for someone with no experience with these animals it would appear that way. But these arn't pets. I'm a breeder of snakes, and while I love them to death, breeding these animals is also a business/hobby to me. In order to breed snakes, they have to be cared for in the best way possible. Fact of the matter is, you can keep a lot of snakes and still insure they are cared for correctly. It becomes hoarding when the animals suffer. And mine are EXTREMLY well cared for.
@1997xboxgamer its not hoarding its a collection....u would understand if u kept reptiles or bred them....and hoarding is when ur out of control like u cant even move in ur house because theres so much stuff...and no collectors or breeders keep that many animals....or if they do they have a seperate location or warehouse space to keep them
@1997xboxgamer You realize that he BREEDS these animals and no matter what species no animal will breed unless it completely stress-free and perfectly healthy. Breeding comes second to staying alive.
hey i just wanted to tell you I really look up to you, I am probobly 2 or 3 years younger than you And I am starting to start getting some more snakes, right now I have a 23 inch ball python, probably 2 months, in my 36 in by 28 in deep vision cage which will be her lifetime cage. But I also have a empty rack with 36 in by 20 in tubs and I would appreciate it if you cuold tell me what snake to get next? I would like a good, tame beginner snake that gets between 3 and 6 feet when full grown.
where do u get your ball pythons cuz im lookin for a baby albino ball python for sale and i cant find any baby ball pythons besides a normal and i have a $100 dollar range.
dude your lucky I would love to have so many animals... I only have a mixed reptile tank (lontailed lizard, green tree frogs and anoles) a freshwater fish tank a gecko and i think i can get gerbils or mice not sure
God im so jealous u got an incubator and all these snakes!!! haha im gettin my first snake suring august. waitin for the repticon to get in town. Ive been dying for a Jungle Carpet. R they good pets? My friend use to have one and said hers was amazing! how muuch does an incubator cost? not any time soon but one day when i get my own apartment i wanna start breeding snakes and such. SInce im 17 thats a good 2 years haha
@8barrbarr8 It varies a lot between species. Ovbiously a green tree python dosnt do so well in a tub, but most species do much much better in tubs. Theres a huge differnce in feeding response, and activity levels compared to a snake kept in a glass aquarium. Aquariums are for fish, and tubs also have the added benefit of holding temperature better, as well as humidity. Ive rescued half a dozen ball pythons now kept in aquariums that wouldnt eat. Switch them over to a tub, and they eat.
@HiImSteveDuh thats interesting. However I think that larger snakes such as burms and tics should have a much larger enclosure. Tubs seems fine to the bp's and other not so large snakes. What do you think?
@HiImSteveDuh thats interesting. However I think that larger snakes such as burms and tics should have a much larger enclosure. Tubs seems fine to the bp's and other not so large snakes. What do you think?
@HarajukuEthan a tub is just like a glass tank. they dont clum and all the do is hide all day. doesnt make sense to me to spend a lot of money on a cage when the snake only uses half the tank.
Can u just go to walmart and just by the tubs or do they Hve to b specially built like with air holes? If I buy the ones from walmart would they b able to breathe?
woow woow woow hold up and take a step back 1:31 did he just say tha 2 more frogs are coming in the mail ? irrrm is tha normal getting frogs in the mail ? or is it just me tha finds its wierd
Nice! I was wounding do you still use flex watt for heating your adults? If so what do you have any issue with heat loss with that rack? I believe that is a garage style shelving from home depot if I'm not mistaken?
oh god.. that's just what i wanna do for hobby. i used to got hundreds of african malawi cichlids. but when i moved to the states i sold all of them. for 3 years i didnt even touch any animal. i wanna begin with small reptile such as any anole type. hope i'll do it.
i find it funny that normal ball pythons actually tend to have better lives than other more expensive morphs, because typically the only people that buy normals are beginners, or close to beginners, and typically beginners house their reptiles in very large tanks and treat them like kings, while snakes with expensive morphs are typically bought by breeders who keep them in small tubs with a bowl of water, and little room to move.... just thought it was interesting
@connjamm beginners kill their ball pythons lol you put a hatchling in a 40 gallon breeder to liberate it and all you're gonna do is scare it into not eating
@SnakesareDeaf yeah i know that, im just saying most people who arent breeders keep baby balls in 15 gallon tanks, and adults in 30-40 gallon. I dont keep my snakes in tanks because I have too many, I was just saying that it seems as if beginners treat their snakes better than some breeders...
@puckfook tis true, tis true indeed... Although I tend to try to stay away from breeding my sibling/parent snakes together. Because when i do breed them together, im more likely to get multiple traits in the offspring, then i would want to breed that snake to its parents, and get better offspring......Its an endless cycle for me, so I try to not inbreed animals, I just buy snakes with the morphs I need.
I would hate to see your hydro bill "wow". I must say you have a nice variety of reptiles. You must also spend $100 a week just on food? Good luck with your hobby and make sure you buy your mother a very nice gift for mothers day/ Christmas.lol
@darthjay13 its short for heterozygous. it means it has 2 different genes in it. but the albino(and many more) are recessive so when bred to a normal, wich is dominate, the offspring have both a normal and albino gene, but because albino is recessive it goes 'behind' the normal, because normal is dominate. but just cuz it looks normal doesnt mean it is. The albino is still in it, just gone behind, breed a het. to an albino or another het. and u'll get more albino lookin babies! read this........
Nice collection! You need to be VERY great full of your mom allowing all those reptiles if I had all those, I would come home one day from school and she would have given them away.... lol
@Princess100112 Most of the animals are breeders and most dont really have names, but I do have some with names like mrs hiss and piss, ruby, jessica, Ozzy, alejondro the chondro, delilah, chaco, ect.
nice collection dude :) i especially liked the tegu, pdfs, corns, royals and carpets :) if you want you can see my channel i have some boas and pythons you might enjoy watching :)
thats so cool how ur tegu free roams al day in ur room!!! do u have any problems with it pooping on ur floor or anything? i want a tegu so bad but i just dont have the space in my room. how often do you have to feed them and how often do you have to clean their poop and how much money does it take to maintain them?
@eastrndimndbck I built a new cage for him outside, it just became too much. you can litterbox train them, and I almost got mine to use one, but then he decided my bed was a much better place to crap, so i had to kick him out into the backyard. lol it takes a bit of time and money to maintain them, he eats almost 1/4 lb a turkey a day!
Where did you get tubs to fit your large rack? I have the same storage rack but have never seen tubs that fit them. Have you ever had an escape from that rack?
@Hotwheelsftw Most corn snakes, king snakes, gopher snakes E.c.t all stay kinda small Avg. 4 feet. but yeah sand boas are small snakes. hope it helped
i just got an albino corn snake

darthjay13 1 year ago
@darthjay13 its short for heterozygous. it means it has 2 different genes in it. but the albino(and many more) are recessive so when bred to a normal, wich is dominate, the offspring have both a normal and albino gene, but because albino is recessive it goes 'behind' the normal, because normal is dominate. but just cuz it looks normal doesnt mean it is. The albino is still in it, just gone behind, breed a het. to an albino or another het. and u'll get more albino lookin babies! read this........

Nice collection! You need to be VERY great full of your mom allowing all those reptiles if I had all those, I would come home one day from school and she would have given them away.... lol

thats so cool how ur tegu free roams al day in ur room!!! do u have any problems with it pooping on ur floor or anything? i want a tegu so bad but i just dont have the space in my room. how often do you have to feed them and how often do you have to clean their poop and how much money does it take to maintain them?
eastrndimndbck 1 year ago
@eastrndimndbck I built a new cage for him outside, it just became too much. you can litterbox train them, and I almost got mine to use one, but then he decided my bed was a much better place to crap, so i had to kick him out into the backyard. lol it takes a bit of time and money to maintain them, he eats almost 1/4 lb a turkey a day!

Where did you get tubs to fit your large rack? I have the same storage rack but have never seen tubs that fit them. Have you ever had an escape from that rack?
