we don't like remakes but this film was an exception..though Lean's version has always been our favorite....we are madly in love with this smaller scale film, yet truly romantic, beautiful players, score & the ending...wow it still makes the tears gush from our eyes..he is so charming in this interview ! Not so much, he has a point. Actors tend to go with the flow, it shows the romance between the two characters with her bathing him rather than doing the haircut bit and more importantly, she's the one that got in with him....
