Yo tambien vi la pelea contra Pintor. Aunque Gomez gano, en esa pelea tambien le dieron una gran cantidad de golpes,termino con la cara hecha tierra.

@mannybrucesalvador Gomez wasnt the most dedicated fighter when it came to training my friend,especially after he started to KO everybody,we could go and on,but that is FACT whether people want to believe or not is irrelevant,he wasnt as dominant in the higher weight classes and Nelson being a natural,strong FW was able to impose his advantages,even though at the time of the stoppage Gomez was giving him a boxing lesson for the most part,you should see his documentary to clear your doubts.

@Metron65 , Gomez problem was that he didn't have the wind. That was always a problem for him. If you could out last his punches for five or six rounds, not many fighters could, then you had a chance of beating him. I read in a boxing magazine years ago that a few fighters who fought Gomez said he punched like a middle weight. Now that is some hard ass punching for 126 Lbs.

El problema mas grande de Gomez era su abilidad de aguantar golpez y su valentia. Al este tipo habia que matarlo en el ring.
Este KO fue una de la manera mas grotesca que e visto a un hombre caer. Contra Sanchez, depues de el primer round, lla staba muerto...y entonses vino la golpiza. Contra Alfredo Layne, que clase KO... no se come esta vivo.

@6400az Me refiero a que llego el momento donde ya el no tomaba en serio sus peleas,no entrenaba como era debido,pretendio depender unicamente de su pegada para ganar estaba totalmente sobreconfiado,la pelea con Sanchez es el vivo ejemplo de lo que digo,si te fijas el salio desde el primer asalto a tratar de KO a Sanchez cuando podia utilizar todas sus destrezas y hacer una mejor pelea aun cuando terminara perdiendo igual,pero como no tenia la condicion suficiente no tenia mas opcion que esa.

@6400az Gomez era un peleador de mucho coraje y corazon,antes de permitir que le pararan una pelea el hubiera preferido que lo dejaran inconsciente,dada la condicion en que quedo su rostro cualquiera diria que fue una pelea totalmente desigual,pero el le peleo a Sanchez en todo momento simplemente ya no veia los golpes venir,a diferencia de otros boxeadores su rostro se hinchaba con facilidad(ve la pelea con Pintor tambien)otros como Chavez les podian dar con todo y sus caras quedaban intactas

Yo tambien vi la pelea contra Pintor. Aunque Gomez gano, en esa pelea tambien le dieron una gran cantidad de golpes,termino con la cara hecha tierra.

@mannybrucesalvador Gomez wasnt the most dedicated fighter when it came to training my friend,especially after he started to KO everybody,we could go and on,but that is FACT whether people want to believe or not is irrelevant,he wasnt as dominant in the higher weight classes and Nelson being a natural,strong FW was able to impose his advantages,even though at the time of the stoppage Gomez was giving him a boxing lesson for the most part,you should see his documentary to clear your doubts.

@Metron65 , Gomez problem was that he didn't have the wind. That was always a problem for him. If you could out last his punches for five or six rounds, not many fighters could, then you had a chance of beating him. I read in a boxing magazine years ago that a few fighters who fought Gomez said he punched like a middle weight. Now that is some hard ass punching for 126 Lbs.
