@dornravlin i have seen once upon a time in the west liked it alot as a kid its been awhile i will have to watch it. i shall grab the other one, thanks for the info.
Thanks for the glowing review! As you had already stated, yeah, we couldn't always afford squibs. Wish we could've managed more blanks. Not even going to mention how little we had to work with...
i seen this on unearthed website but just the blu ray, seeing as ive only a Region B blu ray i didnt get it.. But now i know theres a dvd floating about,il defo pick this up. Looks brilliant. You cant beat a squib i its done well..lol.. Another great shout mate!!
I love the weird westerns. This pulp tradition goes all the way back to Robert E. Howard (Conan) with Riot at Bucksnort, etc. Some modern fiction examples from Joe R. Lansdale (Bubba Ho Tep) and Jack Ketchum (The Girl Next Door) are available, Dead in the West and The Crossing, respectively being two of the best. Great review. How about the spaghetti westerns? Are you a fan? Really love The Great Silence, Death Rides a Horse, etc.
@Fictionite thanks :) and thanks for the info. you know i have seen a handful of Spaghetti Westerns everyone one i have seen i have liked. nearly all the eastwood stuff and Fucli's four, and Companeros is another one that sticks out for me.

@mrparka Dawn of the Dead is the master of squibs.. CGI is a poor poor cheap brother of the mighty squib.
