@stntmn7964 Not exactly, it much easier and actually far more precise to tune using two keys instead of one. If you hit the skin in front of a lug and it sounds low or high, and only tune that one lug instead of that lug and the one across from it at the same time, the skin won't fit the bearing edge evenly, and it will wear unevenly, also making it harder to tune.

Ok, first of all, As I Lay Dying is nowhere near grindcore... Either is Slipknot. If you have to put them in categories, I'd say AILD is metalcore, and Slipknot is more like nu-metal. Slipknot sucks anyway. They shouldn't be compared to AILD... And Atreyu? I like them, but they're not "brutal"... And I also love ADTR, but they're not that metal. Metal is like Slayer and all those old, crappy bands. Metalcore is way better in my opinion, and that's what all these bands are...
