when will people learn? HISTORY has AFGHANISTAN as a country that has never been conquered.. you can hold it for awhile but then you'll leave it with your head, hearts and morale down to its lowest point... people there just want to be left alone and mind their own business, they dont want change, all they want is to live life day in and day out with the God-given land that they have...they are practical and simple, they will always resist change... going there is a sure suicide.

I support Obama's decision Bush should've made 8 years ago. It was not in Iraq. What I want to see and hear from Obama is why additional troop surge is the way he goes and how he will achieve it. 90%of casualties in Iraq was civilians. I want to hear better plan which won't cause civilians death anymore. Considering of only Taliban? Well we should drop a nuclear bomb on them right away.
