he has good sing attitude, try to teach him the passage let him listening a good sing recording a couple of hours per day, he could improve very much!

yes, I teach them songs that I want, I have different songs from different countries.

and just choose which you like best;)

I usually play (CD), songs I chose, in the evening, but not too late, maybe 30-50min a day, just from September, to late November,just becouse I chose that time of the year, But you can play for you re birds Now,and teach them how to sing is Not a Problem. good luck

Respest, you got my full respect for saying against the usage of those hell small cages. I fully agree with you, finches DO NEED (and like) to have cages with size they may move more than 1 short jump.

it is one of the good carduelis carduelis singer i have seen so far. keeping them in big cage...this is a long going issue among goldfinch fans. most of them still keep them in small cages since it is the traditional way.
