I saw them a few years ago when my film class went to a tv station and they played at this christian tv station and they were amazing so when i saw them at taylor swift it was great to see they have come so far!
Needtobrethe is just plain amazing. At the beginning of the year I saw then in concert and they were just great. They speak about the truth of god and are a great role model. I hope they continue to make songs!

He was a children's pastor till he was put through a series of very unfortunate events where he was accused of things he never did, the woman that was under him that he pretty much trained took his place, and after 3 long voluntary years of no pay and 24 hour work they wouldn't even accept his resume.

Amy Grant is awesome, Kristian Stanfill, Addison Road, tobymac, and don't forget about David Crowder Band. If you want more of a harder sound you can go with bands like Pillar or Skillet. I'd give you a list of songs to choose from but there are way too many. 500 characters on a YouTube comment isn't enough room :(. But these artists are a good starting point I think. God bless! :)

We had a youth Sunday at my church a couple weeks ago. The youth group got to lead worship. We got to choose our favorite songs to sing. We played this song. It was AMAZING (not as good as Needtobreathe of course) Best band ever!!!!!!!

GREAT stuff! I just listened to a half a dozen of their songs on Youtube and I had no idea they were a 'Chritian' band.... Inspirational? Yup! Inspiring a sense of respect for honest American music. The lead singer has a very cool voice and their sound on this song reminds of of The Band... Good music is good music & THIS is good music! :^)
I was a little surprised to see the picture of this band. I thought the singer was a Black guy. I mean, not to be racist or anything-I've heard people who thought Christina Aguilera was Black the first time they heard her. He has a wonderful, full voice with a powerful tone. I love it!

I had this conversation with my youthgroup a couple nights ago. Someone got asked the question during a game of comfy chair 'What is the most important thing about religion to you?' and someone else brought up the point that we arent really a part of a 'religion'. We are part of a growing relationship with God.

I just heard this band a second ago and I already fell in love with them.

how about u let people believe how they want to believe because in any case you believe in something as well.. it may not be god but u dont believe in a god so yes u do have a belife and as for bashing music this is a song ..it doesnt matter how its ment to be spoken only how its heard by you wether there be god or not its still a song and it still has passion

im not even a religious person per-say... but writing something like that seems like you're (A.) just seeking attention and (B.) playing with fire, cuz if there is a God, im pretty sure thats not gonna fly at the pearly gates man.

@Natedawg2741 Ahh good sir, i enjoy making ppl mad so yes (A) I did do that to get "attention" and thank you for delivering! and (B) Unlike you, I know the truth that there is no "god". New Religions are created by people every hundred years or so when they get bored with their old one or want to allow themselves to do something new. This is evident throughout all of known history. Is it really that hard to comprehend that when you die, NOTHING HAPPENS?! Come on man, this is reallife not a movie

A) how do you what happens after you die? B) how do you know that what the "truth" is!

And I am so confident with what I say that I am not the least bit worried of whats going to "fly at the pearly gates". Thats childish to believe that there are "Pearly Gates" waiting for you when you die. As I said, this is real life, not a movie. Therefore, your not guranteed a happy ending. You have to earn it. So stop wasting your time on FAIRYTALES and go live your life and change other peoples lives. Kbye

Washed by the water is a good description of our life events... When we are in the midst of firey trials, bound to something so mentally draining that we literally have exhausted all are strength, that is when we acknowledge only the creator can give us the strength we need through our confidence in his promise

We had a youth Sunday at my church a couple weeks ago. The youth group got to lead worship. We got to choose our favorite songs to sing. We played this song. It was AMAZING (not as good as Needtobreathe of course) Best band ever!!!!!!!

i dont think any music should be called one thing. Like if you label yourself a christian band all u can play is christian music. f your a satanic band all u can sing bout is the devil. You cant wright about love or depression or how your life is.

@fireninja242 I agree with this, I play in a christian alternative rock/ pop punk band, and we don't play just christian music, we play everything from Blink-182 to Newsboys, We are calling ourselves a "christian" band because we are doing it to praise god in everything we do. :)
