  • Only, Jesus didn't speak English and wasn't white.

  • out-of-sync

  • In what way is a blind devotion to science, medicine and technology the uses and implications effectiveness of which seem far more contradictory than any religious scripture.. it is painfully ignorant to mock anyone's religion.. we all have one, religion cannot be bound by logic or evidence otherwise it would be common sense, faith is beyond human comprehension.

  • What is this movie called?

  • Brother you can not see it yet but you will very soon, it is not your time to know the truth yet, but do not worry^^... satan will not have hold of you for much longer because his time is almost up.......

  • @nuggermyme you are truly a religious man, because that has NOTHING to do with anything. Tool.

  • @rockerdisturbed On the contrary, it is the very reason why you can't see now, and why you think i am crazy for believing in my Elohim.

How can you go up to a man that has been born blind and tell him about colour,? you can't any more than i can tell you about the things of Elohim, if you have never been able to see from the start how can i explain the things that you can't see. You can only judge and reason from you own perspective of blindness...

  • @nuggermyme Sad for you, but the blind man is a religious person. Any answer or need can come from oneself. It can come from loving others. You do not need a god or gods to do so. especially the one of chrisianity. Where most of it's followers can not tell me anything besides faith and god and bible. Spaghetti monster to you sir. oh and to be more a dick you can and teach blind people colors. There is even words in their form of writing for colors. Transhumanism is your answer.

  • @rockerdisturbed The answer for what??? you can only reason from one self, as long as we have our own understanding of what is right we will always be wrong.

Look at religion, religion is worse than any world war, its pure evil!!! and how did religion come about? from believing in all different gods, and even the same god but with different views of that god...

But when you go bk to the source from were it all started, you will see how pure it is. The very word of Elohim... ^_^.

  • @nuggermyme it started with cave people drawing the sun on the wall. Then as natural occurrences such as storms earthquakes and floods. People without science must figure outside forces of nature. Gods. Then as religion was seen as a tool in Egypt, Romans made their own and spread around the world the use of religion to control large amounts of people. Up until recently has religion and politics been more separated by popular demand. Now all religious folk are believing in Bronze age theory

  • @rockerdisturbed Hahaha i love how you get all your info from the High priests of media, and the white coat priests of there religion and there pseudoscience of how they think man came to be, and how long we have been here.

I tell you what do you research and have a read of a book called "forbidden archaeology" you will be surprised at what the media go's through to hide all evidence of creation, how they had advanced technology how there are so many under water citys every were, giants ect...

  • @nuggermyme you win, because your completely incompetent.

  • @rockerdisturbed that's well summed up

  • @rockerdisturbed My brother you do not understand yet, and its ok because its not your time yet... But soon you will see Yahusha "Jesus" and hear those faithful words and your heart will be filled with such joy and gladness ^_^ because at that point you will realize that you along with the whole world have been deceived by satan and the evil ones... And then you will see His precious Torah, Shabbat keeping and the feast days are such a joy and a blessing to all who keep them ^_^...

  • 'IF' Jesus did exist, he was merely a man, and IF Jesus could see what people in his name have done over hundreds of years he would definitely be confused on how we got the message wrong. Oh, and you see why they are wearing robes and shit? It's because this shit is from the bronze age, their ideals are completely different then today's. Plus I would say early Romans didn't take all the better commandments the Egyptians established. Yeah their were MANY religions before this one, it's a copy.

  • @rockerdisturbed My brother, you have been lied to by this world and all its lies. To keep you from the truth and the way, but you will see very soon the lies in which you believe, its not your fault satan is the master of trickery and if he can get you to believe that this life is all you have, then hes got you...

But you will see the truth very soon do not worry ^_^...

  • @nuggermyme Lies? please. I create my own truths I can do that I am that good. And anyways I started by saying Christians are terrible because they don't care to learn of their own roots and history but Ill end by saying they are controlled sheep. Contradictions left and right, but my favorite most favorite thing bout how fucked up you guys are, is you tell the story of Jesus as a white guy, how the fuck is he white. He would be wearing a towel on his head, like the guys we call Al Queda

  • Rivers, I would have saved this to my favorites had it not been so badly out of sync. Could you possibly reupload it?

  • 0:40

  • I LOVE JESUS!!! I truly do believe he was the son of God and died to give us the opportunity to experience the truth of life so we can live life and enjoy the fullness of it. But I do find it kind of funny that Jesus said, "Do not cast pearls before swine, lest they turn against you and tear you to peices." It seems that is what he did and look what happened to him. But it was necessary so he could save us. Thank you Jesus.

  • Jesus Walked So Close to God and His Spiritual Body that He could Endure such Suffering and Even after having Every inch of His flesh torn,He By the Power of God that Dwelled in Him Could Stand up Again and Again.Dont forget that Same Power Dwells in Us.He Even Said the things He Did We Also Would Be Able to do.And if You think You are Ever Suffering in this Life,it is Still Nothing Compared to What He went Through! robuck777@yahoo.com

  • @spenkterboy

    So true.

  • god bless

  • This is bad interpretation.

  • where is part 2?

  • What movie are these movies from? Just wondering.

  • The name of this movie is: The Visual Bible: Matthew. It was made in '93.

  • @Jmsroyalty01 passions of the christ

  • Jesus is so good. I think god for coming into my life. He has done so much in my life. One day i'm going to haven to see my wonderful jesus. I love you jesus.

  • The most selfish thing you can do is be selfless, because it is in your best interest. Jesus pretty much teaches how to practice true love, and that is really the only way to be completely content and happy with life.

Only shortsighted people who can't get out of their own head think otherwise.

    Jesus kicks ass

  • Jesus is sublime but many Christians are sick. They do not practice what he preached.

  • @CosmicAlfonzo Do not use our Lords name with a name aguest the commandment

  • @CosmicAlfonzo

Exactly, he really did preach "TRUE" love. People don't realize that. Such as the hippies that "hate" others who don't follow "their way" and the "hypocritical(notice this word) Christians." Jesus truly is awesome.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty What does this sermon mean ? Why is it so powerful and everything ?

He talks about everyone being sinners, and then everyone being blessed who even mourn ?? How do you reconcile the fact that you are sinners yet you are to repent ? But didn't Jesus say to be Holy and pure of heart.....seems like contradiction after contradiction.

  • @QuiteNot

Everybody is a "sinner" so don't "feel bad about it." And "repent(change your ways to the ways of the lord)" and that is what will make you holy/pure in heart.

  • @QuiteNot

So no, there is no contradiction there, you are just misunderstanding it.

  • @QuiteNot

And yes, it takes practice/time to change. It doesn't happen over night. But it has it's great benefits. Clarity of mind, higher awareness, more productivity, and the bliss and joy that comes from grace.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty The funny thing is i already had all that, complete peace, high awareness, no worries at all, etc... but when i started to study world religions and see which is right like the bible and quran, etc... i lost it somehow. i couldn't understand all the saying of jesus and make sense of it all. i felt really guilty all the time, trying to be more like Christ along the way. but i just watched this video and now it makes more sense.

    watch?v=7gQGT3THpp4

    Peace

  • All this peace i had without God. I am quite highly educated, multi-skilled, good at analytical stuff and spoken word, etc.... all without God.

Why would i believe then ?

  • @QuiteNot

Well, I would think it is more about knowing you are "spirit" and learning to live in that "knowing(from experiencing)" than to "know God." That is my personal opinion. And I can only speak for myself. What is "before" thought? Be "awareness" itself.

  • @QuiteNot

"Be still and know that I am God." Sit still and focus on the spaces in between thought. The gaps/spaces should grow over time and it will be easier to live from there. It also grounds you in the present moment(reality.) And as Jesus said, "don't worry about the morrow, for the morrow will have its own worries."

  • @QuiteNot

And if you do know God from "Jesus" than it would be his "teachings" that you come to know God. If you believe he was "one with God" as he said. And yes, if followed you also become "one with God" it seems. That could also be interpretted as "one with what IS." One with "the moment." One with "how things truly are" not the way "the mind" percieves things through its own paradigms.

  • @QuiteNot

Let me ask you something? What "interprets" the words(thought/symbols) in the head? Is it the "word/symbol" itself or something deeper? So you see that the "words/thoughts/symbols" are nothing more than that. A "conditioning" if you will.

  • @QuiteNot

That is why "meditation/being still" is so important. Many people think their "thoughts" are "who they are" and they are a bundle of conditioned responses and actions.

  • @QuiteNot

And spirit is not the "conditioning." It is your "true self" or as some people call it, your "higher self." Some call it conciousness. Become "one with it." Or another way of saying it is "become it." LOL. But you have to dissolve the conditioning 100%. You should read "the Tao Te Ching" it is 81 short verses of pure truth. But then again, you are still focusing on the symbols/words when reading it, not the space.

  • @QuiteNot

I can't believe I am saying this, but "forget about the bible." LOL. Well, focus on Jesus's teachings which can actually be "applied" if reading it. Nothing else. It seems to contradict itself when it says, "don't worry about the morrow for the morrow will have its own worries" but then it talks about being thrown into a firey pit. I mean, how can you not be worried after it says that? LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

So "prayer" may be beneficial. Somebody gave me some sincere sounding personal messages about the holy spirit coming into their life. I believe it is true. But that is "my" belief. Like I said, I can only speak for myself.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Wow, why did waste so much time discussing God, being and morals with Muslims ?? lol. This is much more what I was after an intelligent conversation.

So this is how you interpret the holy spirit of god coming on jesus ? we do not receive the spirit from god we just become more aware of our own spirit ? Look at the video i linked to. it says that we should let god work through us by his spirit not our own.

  • @QuiteNot

Well, I haven't experienced "the holy spirit" yet, but I know how to experience

"my own(as you put it)" spirit fully. It seems like they are one and the same. maybe I am wrong. I guess I can only "call out" to God or Jesus and hope he gives me the "holy spirit" whatever the hell it may be. I could be searching my whole life. Or, I could just accept the fact that I probably already found it. And the "holy spirit/our spirit" is one and the same.

  • @QuiteNot

It seems, wanting the "spirit" from God and becoming more aware can go together. It is part of the "seeking" process. You dissolve the Ego(from serving something other than yourself, JESUS) and what arises is your true self(spirit.) But I could be wrong. I am not going to claim truth. I don't think anybody can "claim truth." Even if you do get the holy spirit, how do you know you aren't decieved into thinking you aren't decieved?

  • @QuiteNot

So it seems to be a "chasing" process. Chasing after something that you already have(IMO.) And "realizing fully" that you already have everything you need and accepting it fully is what brings peace and joy. It seems the more you accept whatever arises in the moment and your ability to do so will determine your level of peace. It seems that God, the moment, and your true self are one and the same thing. Reality is God, and God is reality. But I could be decieved.

  • @QuiteNot

But whos to say I am wrong? Somebody could tell me I am decieved, and I could tell them they are decieved. And who is right? We could say, "only God knows." That is, if there is a God. LOL. There definately is "conciousness/spirit/or whatever you want to call it."

  • @QuiteNot

God could also be the highest awareness and understanding of human experience. The bible hints at this kind of thing with "Self-control is Godliness" and "you can do all that I have done and even greater." I also believe it says "God is love." But that is a meaningless statement until somebody "experiences" it.

  • @QuiteNot

I "personally BELIEVE" that Jesus is God. A magical man floating around the universe. But that is just me and I will have to stick with the statement that it is my "belief." You can only "know" something from "experience." And I haven't had him come to me so I can't say I "know" he is God.

  • @QuiteNot

"So this is how you interpret the holy spirit of god coming on Jesus."

Remember that Jesus was tempted by the devil for many days in the forest or desert(don't remember, don't pay attention to meaningless details.) So he had to overcome his own "negativity" within. I think that is what it is all about. Freeing your spirit from negativity created by the mind and yes, getting to higher levels of awareness.

  • @QuiteNot

And when I say "levels of awareness" I mean "awareness." Not "levels." There is no level 1 or level 2 awareness. At least in my opinion. But there is definately truth and "non-truth." Truth is what Jesus spoke. He definately taught the nature of conciousness itself. Or "spirit." The "holy spirit." It is our true nature. It seems "lack of self" is "love." Anything but "us" is "love." Hate is created by us. All "negative" emotion is created by "us." All suffering.

  • @QuiteNot

Where does "evil" exist? Within us. There is no "evil" in other animals. They just do what they have to do to survive. But they don't go around with "evil" intentions. And it is possible to get rid of the "evil" within the self or at least go "beyond it." Free yourself from your own pain. Just by accepting "the present moment" fully.

  • @QuiteNot

It seems the bible is a "book of wisdom." Jesus taught the highest state of human potential/awareness. Which is to be "One with God." One with "the moment." No worries, no thought, like an animal trusting in its instincts. He said, "not my(Jesus's) will, but they(God's) will be done." Meaning he has totally surrendered himself(mind)(Ego) to God(the moment.) And St. Paul said, "I die daily." Meaning he connects, goes beyond mind, lives from spirit.

  • @QuiteNot

But then again, I would "pray" a lot as a kid and I still do from time to time. I would ask for the holy spirit. And I felt as if I was led to the wisdom that I have today from my own "Seeking/suffering." So I may have had the "holy spirit" for that reason. Maybe "conciousness" was somehow calling me/guiding me. I don't know. Or maybe it was just the word of God from what I read and followed. I would just wonder whether or not if I prayed it would have mattered.

  • @QuiteNot

"The kingdom of heaven is within you." "the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

"SEEK FIRST the kingdom of heaven, and all things shall be added unto you."

I am pretty sure he isn't saying kill yourself. I find it strange that so many people look at heaven as a place that you go to when you die after reading these passages. It may be in the afterlife as well. I don't know. LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

What is that state of "innocence" and awareness. That "child-like" state where everything was so alive and fresh. So new and fun. And then it became clouded over by a "conditioned" way to act. "I am an adult." BAMMMM. Fun out the window. Oh no. The only thing you need to know is what you need to know when you need to know it. And from what I have studied, "intuition" seems to work best when you totally "present(in the moment.)"

  • @QuiteNot

And yes, this world is somewhat "magical" in a weird way. I have had an experience, I guess it was an "awakening" where I was in the most intense bliss I have ever felt in my life. It was like waves of blissful energy flowing through my body. Everything was illuminated(as if in a video game.) But over time it wore off. But after the experience everything seemed to make a whole lot more sense. Even the bible.

  • @QuiteNot

And what is there when there is "nothing?" No judgements, labels, opinions, beliefs. There just "is." There is everything and nothing all at the same time. You don't exist as an individual. You are just "awareness itself."

  • @QuiteNot

We are all equal in spirit. In "awareness(which is what we all are.)" We are the "awareness" of ourselves. Even though we are led to believe we are our minds and bodies from a young age and we identify(with thought) with our bodies and minds. But it becomes beyond clear that we are more when you "experience" more from learning to identify with awareness itself. And then it is a matter of practicing living in a higher state of awareness(your true self.)

  • @QuiteNot

A lot of people are living in an unconcious(sleeplike state.) They aren't really in control of themselves. They are very "reactive." You have to practice being "aware" of everything in the moment to overcome this sleeplike state. And that is when you "awaken." You first realize that the "present moment" is all there is and choose to live competely in it instead of the mind. That also why Jesus said, "Forgive them for they know not what they do." Kind of like ZEN buddhism.

  • @QuiteNot

It seems to me that "trusting in Jesus" is a metaphor for "trusting in God." Or "trusting in spirit." "Trusting in conciousness." The bible just uses Jesus as a way for the mind to understand the nature of God(the highest state of human potential.) And yes, you can "let the holy spirit speak throught you." That is another way of saying, "trust in the moment and let whatever arises in your mind come out." The right words "will come." If you trust in it.

  • @QuiteNot

But yes, it does seem that "we" find God, God doesn't come and find us. Maybe he/it could if it wanted to in troubled situations. I don't think we could fully understand the nature of God. I do know this. If you stop "trying to know everything" and surrender to what is, you tend to intuitively understand more. It is as if you are giving up your limited mind for the mind of God. I guess because you are surrendering all your preconcieved "beliefs, opinions, judgements etc.."

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Interesting take on the Bible. Jesus certainly didn't like the Pharisees following the law to the letter, he said they were hypocrites, vipers, etc...because they judged others as sinners all the time. And he didn't really give any real direction in what a Christian should do. He just gave examples by example

  • that helping other people is true love, being empathetic is truly being Holy like God. He even said that the more you put faith in God and not in yourself the more of God can live through you.

I do agree that living in a higher awareness is the way to live. To live by instinct. I try to stay active then I don't have to get stuck in the mind all the time. I just find myself acting more naturally and in turn being more happy, care free and just being more of myself.

  • Very true words you have spoken.

I get worried about Muslims trying to follow there laws. They seem extremely occupied mentally with trying to do what they are told, this leads to very unnatural behavior, extreme aggression, etc... Did you know they have to say a little prayer or something when they go in and out of the toilet even ? They have to check the contents of all food, they have to pray only during certain times, etc...

What do you think about Islam ?

  • @QuiteNot

    Hi again,

Well I don't know much about islam, but it sounds pretty crazy from I hear from you. I have noticed that "Christianity" is only necessary up until a certain point(if you choose to follow it.) Once you are in that "Judgment-free" state of living, when everything is one, why is there a need for the "label" Christianity? It is like saying "I am a Christian, you are not." "I am Saved, you are not." Not only does it create hypocracy but it is meaningless. LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

Because there are no "labels/words/symbols" in that state of oneness. Labels/thoughts/words create separation. They are only used to communicate.

  • @QuiteNot

So "the bible/Christianity" is only necessary up until the point of "experience." Then "the law is written in your heart" as Jesus would say.

  • @QuiteNot

I guess it is about "understanding THE WAY." As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." And the only way to truly understand "the way" is to experience it from living it. The "Tao Te Ching" is very similar. In fact, "Tao" means "The way."

  • In Islam it seems the more you practice it the more you are becoming like something that isn't you. In fact I made a joke, and my Muslim friends were like how did you do that ? What a weird thing to say....

They do everything out of coercion not out of their true selves, from love, everything they do seems to stem from being self righteous, earning their way into heaven.....

The exact opposite of all truth, of Jesus message.

  • @QuiteNot

Yes, there are a lot of "Christians" that do the same thing. But they are mainly the ones that don't "read the bible for themselves." They are weird people. They will go to church, listen to the minister(who doesn't seem to know what he is preaching) and then go home and there is not "one thing" that they apply from the teachings of Jesus. They don't even put effort into it. And they wonder why they are stressed out and their life is a mess.

  • @QuiteNot

But that is exactly why Jesus says, "do not be a hypocrite, decieving yourselves." And "be a DOER of the word, not just a hearer." You "learn" from experience, and you experience from "applying/doing."

  • @QuiteNot

Jesus said, "Do not RESIST EVIL." And so many people(Christians) go around with a concept of "this is good, and this is bad(evil)" in their minds. And that is what keeps alot of them from realizing truth. And the funny thing is, what is good to one Christian is bad to another and vice versa. They all have their own "paradigms/opinions/beliefs etc..." Why do you think there are so many different sects of Christianity? LOL. Insane humans.

  • @QuiteNot

And I am sure what Jesus meant by "do not resist evil" is the "evil within oneself."

The "anger, hate, etc..." Accept it and it goes away. Accept it exists and face it fully.

  • @QuiteNot

And that goes back to, "Do not point out the speck in your neighbors eye when you have a log in your own, first, remove the log from your own eye and then help remove the speck from your neighbors eye." If you don't understand the teachings, don't preach them. So many ministers/pastors preach a message that is not only condradictory but makes no sense whatsoever and leaves everybody in confusion. And it ends up making them crazy.

  • @QuiteNot

"KNOW the truth, and the truth shall set you free."

That "speck/log in your eye" passage is basically saying, find the truth, and THEN help others find it.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty I thought it meant, don't point out others little flaws, if you have bigger flaws.....don't be hypocritical. Do not judge or you might be judged.

  • @QuiteNot

Yeah, that is what it means. That would be part of the "truth." If you are pointing out other peoples "flaws" without first fixing yours you are just the "blind leading the blind." But once you have fixed all of your flaws you know "the truth." So it is basically the same thing. And yes, I know I am being hypocritical. I am kind of doing comedy Christian material. The bible seems to be a "self-help" book.

  • @QuiteNot

There also seems to be "two" messages in the bible, or "ways to interpret" it. There is the literal way, where it says, Jesus is the savior/God and he will save us from Hell. And then there is the other way, where Jesus is saying "we are all sons of God" and we are supposed to "know this" from "experience." And that would ultimately be "salvation." The great thing is it makes way more sense the second way when reading the bible.

  • @QuiteNot

But "As you think, so shall you be." If you continue thinking you are a worthless peice of crap, that is what will manifest as your emotions. You will be pathetic. When Jesus says to be "meek" and "humble" I don't think he was saying to be "pathetic" and "crazy." And so many Christians act that way. It is stupid, no other way to describe it. Because there is a difference between "being" something, and "thinking" something.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yeh, meek actually means being an authoritative controlled person with no aggression. Like Jesus, he stood up for the rights of God and others, but never in an aggressive way. So being humble would mean, being balanced in yourself, not having pride in your own arguments and being open to being corrected so you can be truly meek.

I like the way you worded that. ; )

  • @QuiteNot

But at the same time that is why there is a saying that says, "Those who know don't speak, and those who speak don't know." If you speak about it, you are bound to become a hypocrite. That is what words do. Life is paradoxical. Truth just "is." As soon as you "think" or "speak" it is no longer the "truth." LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

You see, when we "talk about it" we are basically just pointing out what "is." We aren't solving anything, we aren't "doing anything." It is meaningless. We are doing it for entertainment purposes if anything.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Or trying to point out truths, so we shed from ourselves the delusions we have been taught ; )

  • @QuiteNot

Yes, undoing the "conditioning" of the mind. And eventually going beyond it. After totally "undoing" the delusion. We have to go into the "illusion" to know the "truth."

How else would God know itself? ( :

  • @QuiteNot

What happens when you never ask the question "is there a God" to begin with? Is there a believer or non-believer? Or are those another "sense of self" that people give themselves? ( :

  • @QuiteNot

So they go around thinking "I want to be humble." Well, you either "become" humble or you don't. You either "are it" or you are not. And yes, if you work towards it you can achieve the ability to be humble. It seems all of these characteristics are already in that state of conciousness/awareness itself. But you still have to make the choice to remain there once you get there.

  • @QuiteNot

But again, "forgive them for they know not what they do." They are suffering and it is sad. I only know all of this stuff because I have been there done that. I have been a fool.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yeh, good saying that. We all make mistakes, we make decisions based on what we know at the time. Just like the Jews crucifying Jesus, he forgave them because they didn't know who he was...even the disciples didn't know who Jesus was or what he was saying most of the time....we should just be open to learn new things and do the best we can. Not let a few mistakes get us down, just keep moving on knowing that God has a plan behind all this craziness.

  • @QuiteNot

"we should be open to learn new things and do the best we can."

Very true. The bible speaks of this as well. It says something along the lines of "if somebody doesn't accept correction, they are a fool." Something like that, I know it is in there somewhere. The bible is a great book if you understand the meanings, and that is what it seems to for. Trying to understand it and become very wise.

  • @QuiteNot Here is the person that makes me laugh. The guy who goes around screaming "glory to God." As if God will personally come into their life because they run around like a lunatic annoying people with those three words. And this is a statement that I love. "If you want to make God laugh, tell him what you want." LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

Now I don't know if "prayer" has any power in it. But it does seem to have one "logical(as the mind would try to interpret it)" reason that it may be useful and work. If somebody is putting their "intentions" on something, then that is what they will work towards. So if prayer doesn't have any benefits then it at least has that. But it may actually work in some "magical way" as well. I don't know. People talk about synchronicity all the time.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yeh I pray at times, it really does help to soothe my spirit/soul. I admit my mistakes, wish good for others and plan things i need to do, it does help to get the messages through my mind enough to take some action on them.

I think the subconscious mind works better if we don't consciously think and "try" to help make it happen. It's like when you try to remember who that actor was, it is not until you stop trying to remember that it pops into your head ; )

  • @QuiteNot

But sometimes people need to become a "believer(in their minds)" to work towards that which is "absolute truth" as far as we can experience on our own.

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yes consciously we should put questions to ourselves and try to find truth, but then leave the answers up to our subconscious ; )

  • @QuiteNot

What happens when you don't ask any questions to begin with? ( : Is there a "need" to know? Why do you "need" to know? What are you lacking that you don't already have? ( :

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yeh I know, what is the point of questioning anything, just "be".

  • @QuiteNot

    Exactly ( :

  • @QuiteNot

To be or to not to be, that is the question.

  • @QuiteNot

It is great when you can watch the mind from a distance. And you can just see it doing its thing. LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

I think that is what it all ultimately points too. "KNOW THIS!!!" ( :

  • @QuiteNot

That is why I said, "be still and pay attention to the 'spaces' in between the thoughts, not the thoughts themselves." You will find all you need and more.

  • @QuiteNot

I recommend the "Tao Te Ching" over the bible. I recommend ________________________(silence) over anything.

  • @QuiteNot

What is true? Here NOW? Is it really that simple? Can you "accept that?" That is basically what it all comes down too. ( :

  • @QuiteNot

It is so simple the "mind" cannot understand or grasp it. ( :

  • @QuiteNot

Maybe that is why the bible says, "Be still and 'KNOW' that I am God." Not "Be still and 'THINK' that I am God." ( :

  • @QuiteNot

That is why when the "bible" starts driving you crazy when you read it, maybe it is time to stop. ( :

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yeh the Bible often does that, it is time to rest, and ask a pastor or something. I think most of the translators did a terrible job not distinguishing the subtle contrasting meanings. Or maybe it said that way to make you find the subtle differences in meaning yourself.

  • @QuiteNot

Yes, I agree 100%. I found that Jesus told us to do many things in the bible. but never really told "how." But at the same time he did say "how." But we still have to find out if it is the truth. The bible does say "be still and know that I am God." How do you "Teach" this? The bible is just a "book." That is why people get Gurus/spiritual teachers.

  • @QuiteNot

But once you have "tested" the teachings and over time dissolved your "sense of self" from "following the teachings" of Jesus, you find that it is all very true. But once you dissolve your self of self you get so crazy when you read it because it seems so "common sense." LOL. And you start asking, did Jesus give me this "knowing" or did "I?" And you just have to fight with those kind of questions for awhile before just accepting and then realizing "who cares."

  • @DoNotBeHighandMighty Yeh, it's just a guide for the conscious. For faith, a reason to believe.

After that it's pretty much trusting in God for everything. That's why church was only one day a week. ; )

  • @QuiteNot

Yes, trust in conciousness, but you are conciousness? Are you not? Jump over that threshold. Realize you are "consciousness, all your answers will be solved." I ask you to be still in a chair, put your attention in your body and watch your thoughts. What is it that is "watching the thoughts?" Pay attention to the "space in between thought" for a long period of time and don't pay so much attention to the "words which are only symbols" so much.

  • Jesus message was actually very, very simple, believe in the Spirit of God it is within you (when you accept Jesus sacrifice). God will guide you for his own purpose, just trust in him. And your spirit (consciousness) will become one with his, just let go of trying to attain his approval, you already have it !

  • @QuiteNot

Yes, and it all could be "metaphorical" or it could be "literallly true." Or it could be "metaphorical" and "literally true(the meaning.) The question is, was conciousness there all along? And you were just unaware of it? Or did it "come to you?" How would you know you exist if conciousness didn't exist? LOL. Why does Jesus say to "become as a little child?"

  • @QuiteNot

"Become as a little child" as if you were once "whole" but you have fallen into delusion? But this delusion is what you needed to come into and come out of in order to "know yourself."

  • @QuiteNot

You see, there is "something AWARE of THOUGHT." You may not notice this if you are completely "identified" with every thought. That is why I stress the fact that you need to pay attention to the "spaces" in between thought. That way you become "one with the awareness."

  • @QuiteNot

Becoming "one with awareness(conciousness)" also makes you "one with the moment." "one with God." "One with YOURSELF."

  • @QuiteNot

There is no longer a "split." "You and who you THINK you are." There is just "you." The Father. Not the son. LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

The father "never" changes, he is perfect. But the son does. Whenever you think you reincarnate as that thought. You become many people in one lifetime LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

But don't "try" to be anything, you are already it. KNOW this. Pay attention to your "thoughts" and especially to the spaces inbetween. As soon as you become aware of a thought it dissipates, hides away. You cannot stop thought, but you can make the spaces grow and stick with them longer and longer. This is "Grace."

  • @QuiteNot

There is nothing wrong with "thinking." Just don't "believe" the thoughts. Don't "latch onto them."

  • @QuiteNot

"As you THINK so shall you BE." If you want to be a rock star. Start "thinking" you are a rockstar and "believe it." If you believe it you will become it in your mind and truly think it is you. And you will "act" as a rock star LOL. Pretty hard to do unless you "become it." But hey, it is reality, what you "think and BELIEVE" is what will determine how you "feel." How you "feel" will determine how you act.

  • @QuiteNot

And the "son" would become a rockstar at that point. God manifested himself into a rockstar. But if you want to become like Jesus(be ye perfect as your father in heaven is perfect) and "KNOW(experience)" this truth, you will have to "become it" by identifying with "awareness/conciousness" itself.

  • @QuiteNot

And the only way to "know/experience" this is to do what I said. Pay attention to the spaces inbetween thought. There is "thought, and no thought." You will end up going deeper and deeper through the layers of mind until you will come to the "source of thought." Remain there. Become comfortable with being uncomfortable. See what happens.

  • @QuiteNot

You see, we are all "conditioned(believer or non-believer.)" Except the likelihood that the believer will know truth(lack of conditioning) will be more likely over time. You could also call this "the glory of God" which many fall short from. If you "think" you are anything, and you truly "believe" this or that, if you have a "belief" instead of a knowing/from experience than you aren't living in truth. You are identifed with an illusion. LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

So what happens when people follow Jesus/apply his teachings is their sense of self starts to dissolve. And that "sense of self' was always an illusion to begin with. LOL. A limiting delusion. And one day you 'wake up" to reality, or "the great truth." And then you kind of go into states of identifcation with body back to spirit and vice versa until you master living from awareness/conciousness itself. That is when you are "totally free." Free from self(illusion.)

  • @QuiteNot

And because there is this "shaky battle" from the state of "identification with" and "truth/spirit" and it goes back and forth many people become depressed. And when they go see the doctor, the doctor says they are "bipolar." LOL. They just don't know what is happening. But let the Bible be your guide if you have a similar situation.

  • @QuiteNot

But yes, "be still." But I would say "be still and be aware." Be "concious." be concious of what you are thinking and feeling at every moment, and most importantly what you are "not thinking." Pay attention to the spaces.

  • @QuiteNot

But maybe it is all "the holy spirit." Many people say "that's blasphemy etc..." Or "That's evil." But listening to anybody doesn't matter. How do "they know?" They are probably have a lesser understanding of scripture than you anyways. Nobody knows. Somebody may think they "know." But that is the type of person who "doesn't know." LOL. To know "you don't know" and accept it fully and live with it is like I said earlier, somehow in a weird way brings a knowing.

  • @QuiteNot

So yes, trusting in God is the same thing as trusting in the moment. Is it not? And if not, how so? LOL.

  • @QuiteNot

"Blessed are thoughs who hunger and thirst for righteousness." It seems we all have a moral compass imbedded within us. The mind is always moving towards greater happiness. To know you have all the joy, peace, and happiness is what brings "the peace that passeth all understanding." It is all right here, accept it. By accepting the moment you are accepting God. By fighting against it mentally, you are fighting against reality. And you will suffer.

  • @QuiteNot

Now I won't say, "you are God," But you are "one with God" is more of a true statement.

  • @QuiteNot

But it wasn't "meaningless." If you have suffered while following it, it gave you strength. You also aren't fighting yourself while asking the question, "is there a God?" You are both God and son. When God thinks, it becomes a body. And the body thinks it is itself. And then it suffers when things go wrong. It is like the story of adam and eve when they buy into a world of "duality(good and evil.)"

  • @QuiteNot

When the contradictions and statements that clearly point to what you are "experiencing(what IS)" start making your mind go insane. LOL. That is when it is time to let go and let God. ( :

  • @QuiteNot

The bible has a lot of great truths, don't get me wrong. I may not understand all of the truths that is why I don't get some of it. Like "Self-control is Godliness." So true. Refraining from Sins(sense pleasures) can help raise your awareness and free you from the highs and lows of lower awarenss.

  • powerful! few churches preach like this today.

  • why does jesus always end up either sounding like Superman or Ben Folds?

  • If your not a Christian, then that explains your ignorance of the matter.

  • Jesus was only transcribing an even more Ancient Religion that re-surfaced in the Maya the Hindus and the Chaldeans..

Christianity now adays is a fraud.. it's fallen from Jesus's original teachings.. you guys are not Christians, that's just a name you took to calll your crazy religion that the apostles and priests created.. not Jesus..

  • When you say that Christianity nowadays is a fraud, you imply that Christianity had value in the first place.

The Christianity that embodies Jesus's teachings--namely, the Sermon on the Mount--is a call to collectivism, that man is a means for others and not an end in himself, that a man has no right to live for his own sake because he must sacrifice whatever he has to others, else he be selfish and consequently evil and thrown into hell.

  • twoesme is not only a poor speller but is also one flying buttress short of a cathedral.

  • blessed are those who need Jesus

  • If you were a true Christain, You wouldn't mind someone spreading his word..OUT OF SYNC? Is that important to you? You have alot to learn.

  • The gouge out your eye bit always seems a bit strong! What happens if you do it a second time? Gouge out the other one? Lol. The rest of it is lovely though. You can't dispute the wisdom of always reconciling yourself to people who have crossed you.

  • lol, yeah i guess in todays words, it would be like if you have a gambling problem keep away from temptation , or if you have a weakness for mr kettles cream donuts, walk far enough away so you cant smell them baking lol

  • This is one of the most important speeches ever made. This actor did a great job in this movie too. Very powerful.

  • worst play i ever saw..has no power, but aggressively minds.

i see sinners playing the role of saints..

  • What do you mean?

  • did that guy answer you when you asked what he meant? what did he mean?

  • To JimmyVonJim:

I don't remember hearing from him after I asked the question. I still don't know what he meant.

  • saints are sinners as well..if you want to live a proper life in the eyes of god take heed this sermon of how to live a godly life..

  • i understand that philosophy. but is that what amgervinus is trying to say? what's he saying in the first sentence about a play? and in regard to his second statement- the part you comment on- is he saying the actor playing the role of jesus is a sinner? or is he saying that jesus is the sinner acting like a saint, and so he is against jesus' message? or, as you said, is he commenting on how those who we revere- ie "saints"- cannot escape sin either because they're human? i need answers man!
