My dance style and the pallavi I have performed is based on the gharana of Guru Muralidhar Majhi, who has been trained directly by Guru Pankaj Charan Das. As you may know each of the gurus then developed their own unique style, as they worked towards popularizing this dance.

It was great to see that someone has produced such an elegant video of the Odissi dance. The setting is gorgeous and the dancer's moves are very fluid. Looking forward to seeing the piece in its entirity
