  • It doesn't stand for Turbocharged supercharged injected it stands for 'Turbocharged stratified Injection'. The 1.2 TSI only has a turbocharger which is fed through the charge air cooler. and it only has 2 valves per cylinder....it doesn't have the twin charge that the 1.4 TSI model does.

  • TSI is Turbo Supercharged Injected. It has both a turbo and a superchager.

  • @Bigfella0351 There are some TSI engines that are turbocharged only, like this one.
