And the cat behaves this way because all cats avoid objects when the feel them and when having a tape on the body, the cat thinks it's an object and tries automatically to avoid it. You can get the same result by putting your hand above the cat when it walks underneath,the cat will bend and will be in that position. I own 2 cats

Does that mean I mistreat them and abuse them? Nope. Maybe putting REALLY sticky tape on is bad because it will probably pull out some fur, I just un-sticky it a bit first. It doesn't hurt the cat, just makes them walk funny. I am sure putting tape on a kid doesn't count as child abuse either.
