I miss Camrose so much. I used to live there and honestly it is a great place to live.

I now live in Kelowna and it is a shit hole here , with mass ammounts of crime and corrupt cops, i tend to look back at how peacful it was in Camrose in comparasson to here in Kelowna. I miss it alot and i hope i can move back there soon.

I can only assume that the last few posts have been from teenagers stuck in the angst that comes from being stuck in your parent's hometown. If you look at the network of social services, the rich cultural scene, varied amenities, and amazing landscape of this city, I'm sure you'll find a place for more than just "old people and addicts". Perhaps when you're considering a real life and family you'll reconsider where you would like to put down roots. Have fun in the Big Cities, kids...

im a young apprentice electrician, living on my own with my two dogs. My mom lives outta town and hates camrose too....rich cultural scene???? You mean every tom dick and harry hoarding into caddies every weekend? thats the extent of culture here...oh, and of course the hundreds of phillipinos (no im not racist) that have been shipped into our town and have taken all of our jobs for half the wage that we used to be paid. If you are interested in the cultural scene, I suggest you pick up a "community events" magazine, check out the Camrose Morning News, or read the Booster and Canadian on a regular basis. Check out the Chuck McLean Art Centre, Augustana University, or the Rose City Roots Music Society. The list goes on....
