So help straighten a brudda out: I heard that when L.George was with Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, that he wrote this song and showed it to Zappa and he kicked him out of the band and told him to start his own band. Can anybody confirm this? Is it true or just a great story?

@meeshajunk45 Not sure if this was the song that did it but I do know Zappa told him to go start his own band. That says a lot. Lowell George was a fantastic player. I think he was a huge influence on Frank. You can hear it bigtime in the song San Berdino.

@meeshajunk45 He was in the Mothers a short time. FZ has no tolerance for drug use and Lowell was asked to leave, whereupon he started Feat with Richie Hayward and the bass player from The Factory, Lowell's old band.
